Orbital now has a 3 second cool down when entering orbit

    I do not think a 3 second delay is going to stop snipes, and why should snipes be stopped?
    Just have to send some extra canon fodder to last 3 seconds longer.

    Also I want to hear Zaphodx scream when snipes happen :p

    Because 3 seconds can be enough to stop the snipe, if you have enough defences and the enemy does not send 20 SXX.

    Definitely approve of this. To better match up with WYSIWYG, it would be nice for this to go with a simple animation where orbital units enter at a higher elevation, then drop down to the regular orbital level as the cooldown takes place.

    I unno, this means more interplanetary stalemates. Harder to build ninja teleporter, harder to invade with astreus.

    Yeah, that's why we need more balancing to it... how about having the cooldown on takeoff rather than arrival? That would probably make much more sense IMO, what with engines starting up and stuff... and it would sort of implement the "one way ticket" type of gameplay people want.

    Why not let anchors have a small "area of effect" for their attacks (to combat unit stacking)

    Which is why we need Asteroid Belts, drop pods, and the unit cannon.

    Orbital stalemates will always be an issue until we get those additions.

    We definitely need things that invade better. With orbital cooldown, that means whatever you kill in 3 seconds is essentially wasted enemy effort.

    I think there needs to be some concept to an invasion that is effecient against defense. Nukes, orbitals, and teleporters are a start, but need mass in combination to work, I.E a soft spot and a lot of nuking and mass teleport. I will kind of miss SXX snipes being a part of this.
