The black screen bug should be fixed now for people using Intel HD 2000/3000 (Sandy Bridge) integrated graphics.
Seems like there is person who still have the problem: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/0/864978109605165910/ His original report and DxDiag.txt is here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/0/864977563928901582/#p2 Code: Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.130531-1504) Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU B820 @ 1.70GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.7GHz Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Driver Date/Size: 6/27/2013 08:07:44, 12615680 bytes This iGPU is based on HD 2000 and should work by the same way.
There is glewinfo output from my notebook with Windows 7 and Intel HD3000 and this guy notebook with Windows 8 and Intel HD (Celeron B820). No difference at all, both use same driver.
There is other person with same graphics on Sandy Bridge Pentium B950: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/new-update-52512-it-doesnt-respond.50923/page-4#post-783583 GLEWinfo reports totally same features as on Celeron B820. I'm reopened FS#1993 and will track progress here.
