€64.99 is a little over $86. which is far off the $70 dollars in the uberstore. Is it $70 in the US version of steam?

That's Steam's regional pricing for you! I'd guess that yes, it will be $70 on US Steam.

Europeans are wealthier and therefore pay more. Its not only in computer games, its everywhere. Cars, houses, clothes, just everything. But we also earn more for the same job, so its only fair.

Whoa, whoa, whoa - that's not true!

Prices are higher because more tax!

It's the tax, it should be £45 ish in the UK but it's on for £52.99 because of %20 VAT (value added tax)

This is one of the many reasons that I'd love to live in the US :p

Steam can't 'just' lower prices without permission from the developers. I'm pretty sure that's a sueable offense.

Yeah, the "Not-America" internet tax that weirdly comes from converting between dollars and other currencies on the internet.

Trust me, you don't want to live in the US any more than you do England. Yes, the taxes are lower, the government is quite a bit less strict, and when it comes to international relations we usually have a get-out-of-jail free card...

But good gods, the population here is about 85% STUPID. I know... 25 decent people. That's it. They are not necessarily friends, that's all the people I actually *know* that I can consider someone I could have an intelligent conversation with.

Then I reckon I'd fit in with about 85% of the population

Well, I don't agree with your blaming the population, but I don't want to live in the US either, reading about the various way society there is messed up. Maybe I'll move to Canada. Seems like it has a nice mix of the bonuses of Britain and America, with less of the downsides of either.

If I buy this from the here instead of steam, do I pay £45.42 or the price on steam which is £52.99 ?

Buy from Uber - you get it at their price, with bank charges for the currency conversion which are usually a quid or two.

It's not the US anymore, the whole world is like that. Considering the perks that you mentioned, I still believe it is one of the best places to live in. Hell if I was american I would have better chances at actually working for Uber, which is something most of us more active people want

I'm thinking about Canada too. I could move over to the west coast, *maybe* get a job at Uber Ent after I get a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, then move a few hundred miles north to the Canadian/US Border. Did you know that Canada has an overwhelmingly large amount of nude beaches?

    Hi there,

    one question,
If i buy the game in the uber store, do i get a Steam key or is it another downloader?

Cause in dont like Retail Game anymore, i prefered downloadplatforms.
But i dont want to use 10000 different.

Do i get a Steam key from Uber Store for the Alpha/Beta/Final version?
On Steam it costs 65€ (85$) at the Uber Store 52€ (70$)

You can buy from the Uber store and convert it to Steam quite easily :)
