    Launcher? Where? PA's Steam folder has no launcher. If I start the game directly with PA.exe there is no change in performance.

    Edit:
    Found the launcher in a old PA Alpha folder. Trying that now.

    Edit2:
    Performance still fucked up.

    This is the point I got to before I crashed the local server, with a i7-2600 and 16Gb of DDR3 1866mhz ram. I tried to select all units, and it was then it crashed.

    Sadly not, it crashed just when I was going to check.

    What are your specs? I'm getting at least 30fps, up to 60.

    With those specs you should have a VERY smooth ride. Remember Uber's servers are only one core with 4GB of RAM each server.. Now think about how much better your specs are. ;)

    Also in case you don't like time dilation (Even though it actually is just as slow as if it weren't enables, just not studdery) there is a command line setting to disable it, but then you'd have to host a server outside of the game with something like CMD or Linux's terminal.

    i7 4x3,0 GHz; GTX780; 16 GB RAM

    Now with the "official" update the performance is in no way better.

    I'm giving up on local play and getting back to online (even if I hate it). Thanks for trying to help.

    I'd suggest setting up a support thread, in the support subforum so this gets seen.

    Mind hosting another offline match, and pressing ctrl+P and snapshotting every window that appears in the top right?

    Also, is this early or late game? Is it lag as in skippy, or slowing down?

    I unno, I got BSoD before I could even pick starting spot. Guess you shouldn't really use it with dual core processor.

    The game takes about 5 to 10 minutes to load the planets. Once I'm in the game, it is stuttering at 1 fps for about 2 or 3 minutes. After that it works like online play, but with a slight lag about every 10 seconds.

    Loading time for the planets is identical for online play, but I can immediately play at (estimated) 59 FPS without stuttering or any lags.

    I'll use CTRL+P and investigate it while playing. Also taking screenshots.

    Wow, that really is terrible. Maybe you should try validating files afterwards? Also, what OS? Mac, Linux, or Windows?

    I'm currently in another test, I have passed 4.9k units, the game is starting to slow down. But so far not stuttering.

    Edit 1: 6.0k units, still running slowly, around 10 fps on the most busy planet.
    Edit 2: 6.5k units, stuttering begin to show up, but the game still responds fine to my inputs.
    Edit 3: 6.8k The game is running in 25% it's normal speed. (Just got the idea to check how long a second is in the game)

    That's why I changed this:

    var FORCE_START_TIMEOUT = 2 * 60 * 1000; /* in ms */
    var START_PLAYING_DELAY = 5; /* in seconds */

    to this

    var FORCE_START_TIMEOUT = 10 * 60 * 1000; /* in ms */
    var START_PLAYING_DELAY = 5; /* in seconds */

    First is two minutes, second is ten. (I gave myself a lot of extra time, just in case.)

    You can find this in a .js, search for landing.js in your PA directory and edit that to what I put.

    Edit: Unless I don't know what having a BSoD done to you is, sounds similar to a DDos though.

    I'll try validating, too.

    It's a fully updated Windows 8.1 x64.

    TaskManager says, PA.exe and server.exe are taking 10 GB RAM, while the CoherentUI_Host.exe takes about 650 MB RAM. CoherentUI_Host.exe process is running 33 times according to the TaskManager. o_O'

    Maybe I'm pushing the game too hard.

    For me the game takes 4gb and the server 4.5gb ram, I'm at 7.1k units, and the game runs smooth but at 25% it's normal speed, but it still responds fine to inputs.

    Coherent is split up so that it runs smoother, but it makes it use more RAM as well..

    And dang is the server and PA using quite a bit of RAM. :p

    How's the pictures going in game? Or is it too laggy to really get to it easily?

    Also I might suggest you do what I suggested to the last person, so your game has more time to get stable fps.

    Before the game starts, the lobby is unresponsive for about 1 or 2 minutes.

    The lobby is normal, as it's generating planets. What I suggested would actually give you more time to pick your spawns/ load planets and get situated.

    Well your sim is at 10 fps, which is perfect, your game however is quite low. It seems more resources are being allocated to your server than is needed possibly?

    Basically I'll need you to perform these steps (Though I don't think lobbyID is valid anymore since it's offline?)

    https://forums.uberent.com/threads/performance-makes-game-unplayable.62799/

    I'll just alert @metabolical and I suppose @forrestthewoods since he always seems to help with issues like these. Though this time it is client side, and I think he MIGHT have moved to HR...

    Still getting accustomed to the new staff/ staff on other projects. :p

    I know that the lobby can get unresponsive, just like when you are creating new planets in the System Designer. But the lobby shows it is done with generating AND THEN gets unresponsive. Don't know what's going on.

    Should I open a new thread or just post the information right here?

    Now I'm 87 minutes into the game and according to a post from forrestthewoods in your link, the SIM should be running at 10fps and doSimTick be under 100ms. Well, that is the case in my game.
