No Servers Listed in "Internet" list

According to another poster even if you don't have symptoms of the problem listed this fixes it.

i just had the same problem after i reinstalled my OS . I just clicked create game and after it loaded i quit and when i was taken back to the server list it filled up like normal.

This is great news.

Not quite, it is happening to me again. Now I can't even see my history. Creating a game doesn't do anything anymore.

EDIT: I realized soon after I had 1600 ping due to my niece's laptop being a bandwidth hog. Doesn't explain the other time when my ping was in the 20's.

tried the thompson router style fix?

Reinstalling Steam working just perfect for me. Don't forget to backup your games)))
