I've lived in Philippines for 8 years and Japan for almost 9 years and I can say that Japanese women are better.

They might not be as hot as the French-Canadians but at least they're not whiny and annoying unlike the American girls (no offense) I met in Philippines and the best part is, they're VERY DEAD SERIOUS at EVERYTHING.

Almost every single MTV and VH1 show is full of bratty, spoiled and douche-bag teenagers that are supposed to be the kind of role models that young impressionable kids are supposed to be.

Maybe that's where some ignorant, close-minded people draw their source from.

99% of people are ignorant, closed-minded, air-headed sheep. You can't let this bother you though. You just have to live your life to the fullest, make yourself as happy as possible, and surround yourself with other positive people who you care about. Don't chase girls. Just be yourself and they will come to you!

Open mind, awareness, positive thought.

And it sounds like the type of girl you're describing isn't one you want to get involved with. You may not realize it, but maybe you're the one being shallow by chasing some skanky girl because she's pretty.

Like I brought up though, 99% of people everywhere are annoying, and there's nothing you can do but it ignore them and try to find the diamonds in the rough. Unfortunately most of America's youth at the moment, both male AND female, are self-centered, ignorant sheep with a false sense of entitlement.

I'm not a pessimist Deadpool, I'm a realist. I'm actually a pretty positive person and I'm very happy. But the first step to this is not being blind to what's going on around you. It may sound negative, but the truth is that our world at the moment is negative. You just have to find your happy place and block out the negativity and corruption of our society as best you can. Acknowledge it, but do not allow it to consume you.
And no Goldie, it doesn't make you a sheep. It is true that there is good in most people and it's alright to see it. But don't expect a lasting relationship with someone who is self-centered or a product of MTV. We interact with millions of acquaintances on a daily basis, but we only let certain people get close to us, and for good reason.
