    More like economical.(progression)

    Yeah, you progress to a bigger army.

    But it would be fun to mod a game where your economic progression leads to bigger and bigger units that are more varied and crazy, but with bigger risks and drawbacks.

    So, basically something that invalidates the other units? No thanks.

    The hope is that in PA you're never think about about AN unit to mass-produce and your more focused on your unit Composition/Army Positioning, with the different planet types/biomes all throwing in quirks that don't allow for a singular "best" composition.

    ok i thought about basic and advanced a bit more
    most important question ...... can one win a multi planetwar entirely with the basic techlevel?

    what is basic or should be by definition?
    the minimum unitset you need in order to be competitiv on each theater spawning a war over multiple planetoids ...

    what is advanced/specialised or should be?
    a unitset that is not neccesary by default but gives you a clear advantage in battle as it further supports your overall army ...

    is THIS currently the case? do we have a unitroster that allows us to win purely with basic units and structures?
