Sorry, should I have said lunch or supper? It's 7:30 in the morning and I've been up since.... 8.. 9pm yesterday? About that. I'll be up for another 7+ hours or so.

Unless you prefer I eat pizza, random toaster pastry A/B/X/7, or home made McMuffins? Iunno, they're just mini chocolate doughnuts, they were in my fridge, and I was hungry.

    ..and lazy. xD

If we have metal planets and we have naval perhaps we should have a different liquid? I'd love to see us have naval battles on liquid mercury. It'd be in keeping of the spirit of metal planets and just would be a simple colour change from blue to mercury grey. Just an idea

This is trivially easy to do. It's worth noting that the current Metal biome ignores the Height Range slider, so it's all flat, and has no water defined. But you can remove the height restriction and copy the water from Earth, as well as edit the water depth texture to make it darker.

If we're having water just be sure to rust proof the metal planets before release...

I suspect that with sufficient water (and sufficient gravity) that you'll just get an atmosphere of water vapour, where the evaporation and condensation rates hit equilibrium. Without the gravity the water vapour will get energetic enough to escape, without enough water you won't get enough of a condensation rate to allow ground water to exist.

However, since the metal planet is obviously a construct, I'd suggest that it can have any liquid of choice rather than water. Lakes of ethylene glycol for liquid coolant, an atmosphere of escaped chloroflourocarbon based refridgerants etc. are all easily justifiable on a dormant Unicron

    What, no Star Wars references?

As the last Bomber of his fleet, B1-0283 knew it was up to him to end this once and for all. As he angled his bomber into the nearest cooling vent, a massive trench guarded by the enemy's most elite fighters and deadliest AA weapons, he heard the Commander's voice in his head--

Use the Micro, B1-0283, let go of the battlefield! Trust me!

As the bomber neared his target, dodging hundreds of SAMs and weaving through enemy fighter formations, he was at peace. And when the blinding light of ACB-441's reactor explosion hit him, he cared not, for he had done something in his short existence.

Metal planets instead of water, should have like oil or some kinda other fluid.

Im guessing instead of mountains, it will be scrap metal / buildings and such.

Florescent glowing coolant would be awesome. It would just act like water would gameplay wise so navies could fight in oceans of coolant :p

Lakes, or bands of coolant would certainly give the planet a cool look (puns..)
