In reply to the OP - it has also been hinted that the next update will be a biggie. Possibly even some rudimentary orbital units. So to complete the equation stated earlier:

Long weekend + lots of people on vacation + rumored big update of awesomeness = slower patches

I don't want to intrude, he probably doesn't have the time, I'd rather he just find it and take it if it's to his liking, TBH I'm scared he won't like it.

I still can't believe they have the audacity to actually show us preliminary builds in streamed playtests, AND keep us updated on the status of the game! I mean seriously!
When will they understand that all we want is a behind closed doors development period with misleading trailers that make the game look WAY better than it actually is?

Oh and don't even get me started on the way they read, respond and consider player input on these forums instead of just keeping the forum as a "yell at the deaf guy" center where nothing said matters.
