I am apparently the only one not bothered by this change.
Maybe because I play Assassin a lot lately.

I am still scratching my head at WHY this change was put in. Once you get the money ball shields down the game is over. The game focus has turned from kill the moneyball to kill the shields.

Once you tap the ball go back to you base and build shave ice turrets with some rocket turrets and camp. The reason I say Shave ice turrets is they seem to have the most hp of any turret at level 3. I could be wrong on this but its effective and a game winner.

Otherwise if you have juice just go finish the moneyball in 1 second and win.

There is no back and forth games now, once the shield is down the game is pretty much done. Maybe the shield needs a buff to compensate for the moneyball hp being so low?
Make it more difficult to breach the ball and then whoever gets it can rip into the money ball.

2 bots can drop the shield as is right now, the minimum wave is 5 bots if they are untouched.

Its just too easy and there is no longer a challenge unless your trying to defend.

How about this for an idea. The moneyball itself will receive a change where one pro alone can't do much altogether, but damage each pro does to it is multiplied if more players are attacking it in unison. Teamwork is more heavily rewarded in this case.

Moneyball health to be determined later, and Juice will have no affect on moneyball damage.

For OT to hit, there must be at most a 30% difference between the team's respective moneyballs health. This should cut down on "tap the moneyball then go turtle".

Maybe this change is to make MNC more similar to DoTA, in that if you allow the enemy team to burst through to your ball/nexus, the game is completely over, rather than it being a setback?

I've not tried this new patch yet, but I'd imagine it puts a lot more importance on map awareness and turret building, rather than derping around as a kill-whore all game.

Would need more turret nubs and turrets at the beginning of a game to make that work. I do like the idea though, make the base a fortress that is hard to break unless teamwork is involved.

If the MB will keep this drastic health change then there have to be more rules in place to make killing it require more strategy. Also that OT should trigger if there is a great enough difference between the ball healths. This is a point I am confident to support but the specifics are not so clear to me.

One idea that seems worth implementing to try out is the "only bots can keep the MB down. This effectively means that should the loosing side regain the annihilator then the ball will go back up. It also should put more importance on the lanes increasing the roles of assassin and tank.

There is also the set damage idea. The one where pro's can only keep the MB down if a set damage is done.

Maybe is it an idea that when you destroy 50% of the moneyball, the shields will go up in 10 seconds (just throwing out numbers), this way you have to coordinate a final attack so you actually destroy it.

Yeah, that reasoning makes sense to me. For me the game is the same anyway. Go push your bots into their base and kill the MB. I hate holing up in the base so I never do it. But then, I don't really care if we win by destroying the MB or because we were the only one to do any damage at all...a win is a win. ;) I had both types of wins before the patch and I have both types now.
