I think if everyone can agree to be civil and keep the flaming to the appropriate threads/subsections(if made), the community would benefit from having everyone in one centralized location. To be honest, expecting flaming to never happen on a game that is 99% competitive when played was a little ridiculous to begin with. Competition brings hurt feelings and people who don't like each other(for losing, attitudes or otherwise) and expecting people in a small community like this to both take the game seriously enough to be competitive yet not take it seriously enough to get emotional about it is ridiculous. You can't have one without the other.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this game and all of its community is that we all elevated an xbla game to a competitive level and have already sustained it much longer than most xbla games, especially one so multiplayer focused. I'd just hate to see the continued fragmentation because I think pretty much everyone who has been banned has still contributed to the growth of the community either through new game types like Sumo, getting groups of people together for private matches to sustain competitive gameplay or even just helping the community of the game grow outside of the game through witty banter and joking.

I would also point out the fact that I think people "hating" each other over the internet is downright ridiculous for many obvious reasons but there's really not a point to that.

The problem isn't the forum or moderators/administrators but more on the users of the forum.

so was deadeye, so was snarf, so was grec, etc all the other people who made new names..

fact of the matter is i was asked to come back and contribute ..
maybe just ban all our ips, names etc and say good bye

Really, that is the only way they could re-ban someone for no new problems, is to take away EVERYONE's second chance.

Meh, I don't know why users can't just stick to the rules, nor why if they can't then the rules deserve to be changed to cater to them.

At this point, I just keep my head down and play the game occasionally. Great game still, as long as I don't run into pubs with forum player stacking, which I then just move to the PC and that's cool as well. Nothing too much to complain about, who is "ruining the community", and I don't know why it is seen as this bad, but I was simply suggesting an idea.

@Feedle, I would suggest just dropping it. Yes, we did get the really short end of the stick, I agree that our five teams didn't just up and vanish... but we aren't going to win an arguement here. We lost, but what does it matter over a video game? I play guitar hero and street fighter more at this point anyway. The monopoly over this game makes my gameplay in MNC limited to playing as a pub with pubs, showing others tricks but not doing any of my strategies that would break a pub team solo, and staying pretty much away from the forum players. PC is also a good alternative to these fights.

Keeping this fighting up does nothing but make things worse, when they were bad already (at none fault of ours).

Also, seemed as though he was saying that your post was perfectly fine, but mods will look at it, see one word and insta-ban.

Half of his post was to me, also i couldnt care less for what he posts. The devs already stated that one word comments/replys will not get you banned, trolling the forums will. But some people have to bring it up every two minutes for what ever reason.

UberEnt allowed the users to post with very limited restrictions, unlike GameFAQs or other major gaming forums.

The users have simply abused what was given to them here and the moderators/administrators can no tolerate what was being taken advantage of.

Besides that, users are refusing to adopt to the rules here. The users also act like they're the reason why the game is alive, which is a huge misconception as the game is kept alive by a large base of players, and not just a few people who go to the forum and speak their opinion, or whatever content they may bring.

Simply said, GROW UP and FOLLOW RULES.

PS: the moderators and the administrators are fine.

I have a question of legitimacy. You are going to have to draw a hard line about this as well. I want to be treated equal to whoever does this, so let me know how you stand on this rule, forum governors:

Is it allowed to post something a banned member wants you to post, since he can't do it himself?

I ask this because, if it is allowed, and bonecrusher is banned, then couldn't I post anything from our forums he wants me to post here, using my unbanned acct and just quoting him? I could do this constantly. When I do, I want you to remember it was done with the Thunder Eagle Group too.

So mods, please bar it now if it isn't allowed, and warn everyone here not to do it again with any banned parties, or do not attempt to go after me should I do it later.
