tl;dr I don't like the shift to a pallet with less contrast and prefer more time per scene and as opposed to hitting major plot points then moving on. Neither of which are things I expected from a western release, which is probably why I was fine with the live action movie. The whole "painting a city" point is pretty BS. The old movie had a pretty looking city, but in no way every made you feel a part of it. The new movie did the same thing with differently angled shots and less time spent on the eye candy. Anybody else seen the leaked Infinity Wars trailer?
blade runner balck out 2022 anime by Shinichiro Watanabe for free on crunchyroll here if you want it : http://www.crunchyroll.com/blade-runner-black-out-2022/blade-runner-black-out-2022-blade-runner-black-out-2022-748417?id=748417&utm_source==influencer_cr&utm_medium=youtube&utm_campaign==wisecrack but it's pretentious. doesn't get the source material and too damn short. so my take is it's garbage
I never saw the original Blade Runner, but the 2049 looks really cool (the trailer at least) Hope the reviews are good.
watch it like six more times. run the dialogues under a microscope. most importantly anything the "bad guy" says. .....especially his final monologue.
actually they're all available for free on youtube. guys free stuff for a big upcomming movie raises so many of my warning flags you have no idea I'll just leave it at that in al fairness short N° 2 and short N°3 are fantastic but it doesn't change the fact that they all **** on the Blade Runner cannon and the first short is utterly garbage. I mean its "yeah just change it up a bit so it isn't obvious you copied" levels of lazy. sucks cuz I love the artist and the art style.
just saw the first 9 seconds of this vid : he sais it's "phenomenal" so I'm not gonna spoil the movie for myself and i'll wait 'till after I've seen it to watch his review. But I stand by everything YourMovieSucks sais so I guess I was wrong. I'll go check it out. but I won't pay.
If it matters to you that much, why don't you go see it at the cinema? Worse case scenario you have something to bash all month, best case scenario you'd like it. Disclaimer: i have no idea what your ticket prices are. I'd be willing to wager 10 bucks for a movie (just the ticket!).
https://s.cinemasgaumontpathe.com/#...D2144294C3&-i-ch=website¤t_step=seating 11.60€ without 3-D but I digress. I also share YourMovieSucks opinion that with enough assholes ANY movie viewing at a theatre is a godawful experience. this is exactly the kind of movie that bring young assoholic crowds in.
