Most Overpowerd class (Post DLC)

Support is so OP.

I am torn between Tank and Assault. I have noticed that most players, when you can get to where they are almost dead, they both charge away. Tank spins with his jetgun when someone is close, Assault charges. Speaking of, I would rather the tank spin 3 times with a little bit of a longer range and have to recharge that, other than it just being a clip. Too easy to spam. A lot of times I die from a Tank and I just don't even know how. Seems as if I touch him I get lit on fire automatically. ...I vote Tank.

Then again I have terrible internet. I could be the lag...

My issue with Tank is the Charge 3/Death Blossom combo, as well as the juiced Death Blossom. Both just do obscene amounts of damage and recharge way too fast. However despite all that, I still vote Assault. He just has too many tools to do freaking everything.

I think it'd have to be the Assault. He doesn't really have a real weakness, he is good at pretty much everything, whereas other classes excel in certain situations. Saying that though, if you put yourself in the right situation, any class can deal with the assault fairly easily. Except maybe sniper.

I hardly play assault, not really very good at bomb throwing and stuff, but I more often than not get 15+ kills and less than 5 deaths... And another thing, the assaults charge 3 is amazing.

Charge 3 is horrible.

In comp. play it is, put in pubs against idiots it is pretty effective.

As was posted in another thread ( Liefs I think ): Every class has something that seems overpowered to some players but not others. But surely it's only assault players that don't think the assault is the most overpowered class.

On the contrary, my friend always plays assault, and he even calls himself a douche.

The sad part is, it's true. Playing the Assault takes nearly no skill and yet can easily destroy every other class. It's getting absolutely ridiculous. Playing tonight, I did not play a SINGLE game where there weren't at least 3 Assaults on the other team. It's just getting incredibly annoying getting bombed from one side of the map to another, or charged even further than that. Because yeah, Assaults can do that for whatever reason.

When you press A over the picture with the Assault, you're effectively pressing an easy mode button.

This! I have noticed a HUGE increase in the number of Assaults over the last week or two. What's that all about? I even played a couple games against complete randoms where the entire team of 5 went Assault. I don't get it... :?

And yes, I agree with Russ and Lief. Assault is definitely easy mode. I have never really taken the Assault seriously before, and I played Assault for 70% of the matches I've been in over the last few weeks and have already maxed out my AR kills, and am getting very close to my 1000 bomb kills. Ridiculously easy.

As long as you aren't playing any good gunners, assault is easy mode. That's why everyone finds it easy, because their aren't that many good gunners.

Exactly. The odds of running into a good Gunner in a public match are pretty slim. I may have come across 3-4 good Gunners (in hundreds of matches) that I couldn't handle. And I have terrible aim. Terrible.
