I just picked this game up today, and put in 10 hours beating the story mode, what a great revamp. They did a great job and they left solid opening for more story line. If anyone is into the story line i wont ruin to much, however at the beginning of the Story mode they have Evil Raiden fighting Shao Kahn, they also show zombie Liu Kang and the Dragon King before getting the ball rolling. THIS GAME IS FRIGGEN GREAT, i dont want to throw out any spoilers unless you all are really interested, but i must say if you are a fan of MK you need this game.
Aug 9th Freddy Krueger will be playable for DLC. Just a heads up for anyone who doesnt have the game or watch updates on MK
Although I am disappoint at the update news, I am glad to say I am now an MK Mediocre, too. 28% with Smoke is all I can muster.
I get on Facebook and I see this, straight from EVO I wish to believe that it's a requirement to not wear pants when you play MK9.
Are they still using the system where you have to hit a button to block, instead of just hitting back? I hated that. L. Spiro
Had a friend complain to me about that and then as he was playing MvC3 he realized how hard it is to face the computer because blocking it hit and miss and according to him could have been improved as such.
Just picked it and up and am raging becuase Raiden vs Shao Khan in the end fight is driving me insane. Plus shao Khan's X-ray is so O.Pd xD
To beat Kahn, simply hold back, wait for him to do something, teleport and unleash your best Raiden combo. Or a Fly, because that zones him, too.
No,b ut about the Season pass thing, I feel ripped off for having to buy Freddy Kreuger. And also, I dared to go online today, and the input lag is atrocious.
I played a little before going into work this morning. Freddy is fun to use, and considering WB owns New Line Cinema his inclusion makes me want a movie monster fighting game.
