    Costs is right, yes you do pay more, but you pay more for actually more stuff/options/etc.
    Also: most people have a very bad view on the whole costs thing. A gaming PC should not cost more than 1000 people.

    Then again a lot of games abandon this feature because the developers are just stupid that way.
    I miss the days when I played Golden Eye with my friends at home.

    Ever heard of a LAN party? Also I have multiple games that allow multiple users on one PC anyway.

    Why have a LAN party when you can play over the Internet?

    Please, name a few. I'd like to know about them so I can acquire them as well.

    Didn't the valve team who made Portal 2 link the steam version to the playstation network?

    I heard that Playstation Network users could link their account with their Steam ID, share the achievements from one to another, play with steam players on PS3 or with PS3 players on Steam.

    All of this makes MNC look good torwards putting it on PS3. If a sequel is made, they could do this, continue the trend of fusing Steam and Console, and stick a knife into microsoft's back for their shenanigans a la Valve style.

    As an Xbox gamer.... They do.

    They don't have to pay 40 a year to play online. Doesn't sound like much, but Microsoft has had 200 of my money plus whatever the console cost (it was a present).

    but the PS3 controller sucks soooo baaaad..

    so light and small, the Xbox controller is heavy, big and round. call me an idiot, but it is the exact reason why i prefer xbox over PS3.
