For the record, cardboardwarrior, Justin Wong tried this in the Street Fighter community. I don't know how much money he made doing it, but since the pro community has become much more accepting of the benefits of online play in the last year or so, if you know what Endless Battle lobbies to go to at what time, you can play with the best in the country for free.

Yes, of course, I'll pay 1600 points for lessons on how to play a game worth 1200 points. If I pay you 2000 points, will you download the free DLC for me when it comes out?

seriously, there are other ways to get better. you can get into a game with peachy pony and have him spank you a thousand times for free, and eventually become good from it.

plus, if your going to spend money on a game, either get lessons on a n00b retail game, or get some mods to cheat with.

most skilled kids in sf4 have modded controllers, timing just doesnt get a reversal as easily as a modded controller.

final thought: why pay 1600 MSP to be good at a game you cant go to tournaments for and win money? pay me 1600 MSP, and ill teach you to get 500000 on dragonforce songs on expert within a month by playing 4 hours a week. its actually easy when, you know, you dedicate time to it, like i did, lmao...
