The official acknowledgement is appreciated. Hopefully there will still be MNC players by the time the modding tools are released.
probably like most other map editors that use both pathing thus, something along the lines of some entities for the logic, and some entities for the actual path to take but... need to have it first ^^
Could be a very simple point and drag tool that just adds the waypoint for the bots you see ingame. Ohh how magical this game is going to become. I'm going to make turret nubs closer to the middle so its even more struggle to get the bots to the other side. I will call it. The Overtime map!
So many bad ideas. I will make the two spawns opposite of each other with both money balls in between the spawns. The bots then spawn from either sides and you have to escort them. Enemy turret nubs will be right next to the spawn exits. Perfect map for your run of the mill player who just cares about kills.
Hopefully the Mod Tools will be both for advanced users and for stoopids like myself. WC3 was pretty simply for newcomers, just a few minor guides would let you create a Tower Defense, hopefully the same applies to the MNC Mod tools so we can create Crossfire maps with ease.
since the tully update didn't bring them with it.... ***BUMP*** still, waiting.... edit: also (if devs are reading), releasing a part of mdk would be cool too, like first just map editor, then a month orso later, make it able to compile/export scripts, and then even later script source? i just want to be able to make something  edit2: (rage/vent) damn... just read through the thread... ffs ppl... taking too long... why entice us with editor support on the buy page if your not gonna have it !!!
They kind of got screwed, having to port all their stuff over to a newer version of unreal than they started with, if I heard correctly. Both for XBox updates, and modding tools. And they are passing the screwing on to you! Seriously though, we are only getting pushed back because this is what happened to them.
^I see. So the engine update affects us all. If things go as planned both branches of the playerbase should be pleased now and in the future.
at this point I'd rather see proof that this is even real, and then a very simple set of tools with a bad user interface that power users can utilize now with an advanced, complete release later without mod support soon this game will kick the bucket, but you release it and modders will come
I already canceled my two servers. I won't spend any more time or money on mnc or anything else uber-related until they follow through on their plan/promise to provide mod tools.
