MNC Update June 30

    I have to admit something.
    This update is bad :(.... no offense. Gear is good , but nerfing moneyball from 10.000 to 4.000 hp?

    Right now One team full of gunners can win in 3 minutes.

    The worst part is I can't fathom WHY this was a good idea. What for? Was it a mistake?

    Remember how we complained that there was too much turtling going on? Decreasing moneyball health is probably a test if that will change. 250% was a lot though... :D

    Well to be fair the team that was able to drop the enemy's moneyball first and damage it even 1% would usually go on to win the game when time expired.

    This new rule seems to follow the same theme of "your moneyball drops and you can't just turtle up, you need to push out and be offensive" except it allows the game to actually END when the moneyball drops during regulation. Before you'd have 10 minutes of one team stomping the other until some people ragequit letting the moneyball drop again.

    Feels like someone forgot to check in the change to make moneyball shields go up faster.

    Patch Notes would be really great right about now.

    Is Uber "hiding" them to cut down on the bitching? I think yes! :lol:

    Maybe Uber released in this update Dangerzone...? And they are waiting for activate it just like Summer Gear ?

    It used to be possible to have close matches, where one team's shield dropped, they recovered and pushed back, the other team's shield dropped, they recover, etc. Those were always the most enjoyable games for me. Now the second the shields drop the game ends. They might as well remove the money ball completely and just make a "if a bot crosses this line the game ends" line.

    Return MB health to prior value.

    Change overtime to trigger if MB health is within 10% or so of each other.

    Remove the most recent juice nerf and replace with something that alters each class (You know, so a juiced gunner is not 4x more dangerous than a juiced everything else)

    ...and remove the autograpple from Charge 3. :cool:

    Bam, perfect game.

    Or at least some visible variance between the MBs
    I've had quite a few games like this:
    - MB gets dropped
    - No other bots/humans even manage to touch the MB
    - Shields go back up
    - Player joins the team that had the dropped ball later on
    - That team loses at end of match, newest player goes "WTF?!" because MB meters looked the same

    I'm beginning to question these last two updates. What has Uber done to my game?!

    Oh well, I can still enjoy the classic, although slightly unpatched MNC on
    xbox while it lasts.

    That's basically it - if the winner isn't practically guaranteed, the game shouldn't just end.

    Why? because it's BORING. Yes, one of the teams has "won" technically because when time runs out they've got more health. But it's boring and makes being on the losing team completely unenjoyable. There's no motivation to try and turn the game around because the enemy are just going to turtle. And turtle they do. I've seen a "winning" team go from 0 supports to 3. 3.3 rockits and firebases, ho!
