But, yeah, contracts would be so rad. I really think this whole thing would rock, if we sprinboarded into it with this tournament. But again, lets just try and finish this tournament first.

I also like obi's league idea as an extension of this event.

I love the idea of a league, but I humbly submit: simplify. The fewer rules there are that limit just PLAYING, the smoother it will go. I'm not saying to cut out all of that stuff, or even that all of it isn't pretty brilliant, but the more complicated you make something like this, the harder it is going to be to get everyone to do their 'jobs'. In fact, making it complicated enough that anyone has to view it as a 'job' is what you dont' want to do.

Complicated rules = no good. I agree completely. That's why only the captains really have any decision making to do. And even then its only in the offseason. During the season, its just play games / record stats / have fun. If we do this after the tournament, I am sure we will tweak the crap out my wireframe concept if we even use it. But I agree with you completely, Z Bear, no one wants a game to feel like a job.

BTW, are captains still picking for this tournament? What is happening?

Seriously, I'd like to announce my retirement right now.

Man I'm getting nervous. Since iPres was taken there is only one other player on my want list. I have only played one game with this player and I believe they are fairly un-noticed by the community, no offense to my want pick.

My 5th draft pick is going to be special. I'm going to reveal our team name as well as have a special last pick. So yeah if the captains ahead of me hurry up and pick my next draft pick will have all the awesome details....
