    Who the factions are, where they came from, social (dis)functionality, what they have in the way of ideology.


    Explanations of how things like ACUs work are few and far between. Dotswarlock's books are stories about people, not technical manuals about machines.

    How is the Black Sun treated? It was the major wallbanger for me, and the possibly the only videogame element I hate more than the Starcraft 2 campaign.
    More generally, are the Seraphim still a flat Diabolous Ex Machina, or are they better brought to the plot?

    Not gonna' tell you - you'll have to read it for yourself.

    But yes, Black Sun was pre-destined to be a difficult topic, because it's where all three campaigns meet and one particular ending is chosen.

    I'll give it a shot, then. But be warned, I will mildly resent you if it's not that good, coherent or believable(!=realistic).
