Orca's tend to shoot over other ships and torpedo launchers on a 400 radius planet. I think it gets less on bigger sized radius planet but it still happens a lot.
1. start game on styx, unmodded PA 80462 2. make a factory 3. let the factory idle. It will show the idle factory warning at the bottom left 4. open pip 5. zoom out in the pip and switch the planet to space or to the metal planet. 6. the idle warning for the factory (and any other idle warning) disappears. Even after closing the pip it stays hidden until the camera focus is reset with the main view (so leave planet and return) It seems the idle alerts are only displayed for the planet that the focus in any holodeck last switched to, even if it is a small pip somewhere. Expected behavior: show idle warning of everything, ignore the currently focused planet EDIT: the display of the planet you are currently looking at in the top right has the same bug. It basically shows "what planet did I last switch my view to in any holodeck" and that might nott be the planet you have in your main view, it could also be a planet you viewed in the alerts preview pip for only second.
Maybe creating a bug tracker entry for each of those issues would bring them to the devs attention? because almost none have been corrected. And I recall experiencing most of them myself recently
I was unable to repro this in PTE 80684. Can you double-check to see if this issue is present in the PTE?
Issue is completely unchanged in the PTE, unmodded PA. In step 5 all camera movement happens in the pip. The main view is unchanged. This issue also means that the idle warnings are only visible for the planet you are looking at right now at best or at worst for the planet you last switched your view towards in a pip.
Strange, the first time I repro'd this, the notifications remained. Now they're reacting as you've mentioned. Thank you for letting us know!
