NO no no no, you all misunderstood what i have said

i didn't mean any steam turbines and solar panels, i mean hot watter pumped from inside of the planet into canals that center onto capturing station, then going trought some sort of heat conduncting material that redirects heat to radiators (the ones that you mistook for solar panels) in order for radiators to RADIATE heat into space with enormous efficiency, then cooled water is just moved directly into planet's core trought giant hole in water pond

in this model this is VERY efficient cooling system for a dyson construct, using water only to transfer heat from core to surface, trought actualy this wouldnt be water but probably some liquid very efficient heat-sink chemical, but still, ships should be aple to float in this just like in water

as for generators, i would actualy expect a antimatter reactor, or maybe even a miniature star/blackhole (anyway, heat would be completely enormous)

and one more thing, humans could possibly build something like metal planet in less than a 1500 years (dont underestimate our race bruh, dyson spheres and stellar lifting its NOT a science fiction(at least not at all))

oh and for antigravity part... yes we would use wheels, atleast for backup system, or for more simple desings where they are needed

...you didn't read any of it, right? that or you have a very poor understanding of what i just said

Anyway, lets hear your opinion about how metal planets could cool themselves, and i will tell you how much bullshit or non efficient is that o_O

Edit: Oh, next time then try to write post that CAN BE UNDERSTOOD ok?

To be fair, I'd have to see an example or something of what you're talking about, since it seems a bit complex and it confuses me a little.

That being said, your post proves there's more to be drawn with metal planets in terms of 'water' of some type. I can't prove everything is efficient, and I don't claim to know a whole lot about the more complex details, but I do know that the more ideas thrown on the table, the more you can combine them into something amazing.

I just wish more people would pool ideas combined with sci-fi physics to create something awesome that makes sense for PA. Something everyone would be happy with.
