you may not be bashed, but everything you or i say in the internet is free to be discussed and criticised ... if you can´t deal with or accept that you honestly better don´t post, that is (sadly at times) the way things are ...

Episodic Movies and even Games are already a thing.

    [Edit]
Also just because a Publisher/Development team released half finished games as some of you are claiming we are headed in that direction, why the heck would consumers just bend over and let it happen in a illegitimate fashion? Heck for all we know even Early Access could be a fad.

Games are massively different from other media. Comparing the two is almost always pointless.

No. That's the point. What you do get is a chance to influence the production of the game.

And if you are not you just don't pay instead and wait or leave completely.
No need to go and rage at people who like the offer.
    lokiCML and MrTBSC like this.

Not so long ago Publishers would actually fund games that went against the grain/more popular games at the time.

There is nothing that belongs on Metacritic. Not a thing.
And any single person visiting this site has both too much and too little time on his hands.
Apart from that, a game and its developer are never two completely independent entities, thus calling for a separate review of both is unreasonable. Scoring one to get at the other is not quite the best approach either, though. Report Uber to the authorities if you want to see them reined in, the German Verbraucherschutz would surely lend you an ear or two.

So does that mean Uber's business practices with Toy Rush have an impact on how people rate/review PA?

i doubt they would have too much a problem with that as long as the box has the propper ammount of information needed for the consumer ...

"Savage Toad reminds me of a Commander in PA, WAIT! There is a PA Commander in Toy Rush! This game is amazing +a bunch more characters." I should put that on Metacritic. :D

    [Edit]
Or "Thunderblade looks like an SMNC Pro. I disliked SMNC and I now dislike Toy Rush and PA."

Thanks for ignoring the only real connection between the two games - the developer, and the business practices he employs more to the point. But a good strawman apart from that, I have to admit.

You are arguing over a definition. You think I don't understand it. I do, and we agree on it.

What I'm arguing about are the implications of that practice.
