Overall ME3 is what I wish ME2 would have been more like; choices have consequences, good or bad. It made me much more emotionally invested. Just finished the game last night at 5 AM, (Paragon all the way) was going to stop at 12 am, but I had to keep going and see how it was going to end. I can see why some people would be angry over the ending. After seeing the end... not sure how I feel, conflicted I suppose. On the one hand it seems like a simple, dare I say elegant end? On the other hand I feel cheated and confused. So while I begrudgingly accept ME3's ending, I am very much looking towards to the new (hopefully) more satisfying DLC ending. Even if I have to pay for it. Hard to be happy concluding a trilogy I invested so much time/emotion into with a bittersweet taste left in my mouth.
RE DLC may include levels, guns, characters, challenges etc I hated the ending because it was filled with so many plot-holes, A Dues Ex ending, and none of the choices you've made over the previous 2 games even matter. The original ending that was planned before it was tossed was that a dark energy build up was going to destroy everything in existence. The reapers were built simply to stop it. The race who built the reapers sacrificed themselves in order to make Harbinger. So every 50,000 years, they would harvest species and create more reapers to try and hold off this dark energy explosion. Humans were the most biologically diverse and that human reaper they were building was supposed to be the final solution to end the dark matter problem. In the end the player would choose to allow the reapers to collect billions of humans to build this reaper and stop the threat once and for all or destroy the reapers so they can come up with their own solution (by then it there would be too little time). They should've kept that ending instead of the stupid catalyst-boy.
That does sound like a more interesting end. But yeah, I wouldn't say I hate the ending, but I dislike it. It did throw away so many choices you made throughout the series. For a game that prides itself on choices, the ending was severely lacking in culminating those choices.
The ****? I haven't played any online MP game besides MNC 3 months. Edit: I liked Mass Effect 2 more but I could not get back into the first one. Playing the first one is just... painful...
Take first ME's leveling system. Seconds story. ... almost everything else from three. Perfect. Darn engineer, stop luring me for a second playthrough.
Or a Supergun with 99999 damage. Anyhow I find the last 10 minutes to be more of an indoctrination attempt check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ythY_GkE ... ature=plcp
Define ''working''. With a certain editor.. Raw - Squad tab. Player FaceCode If you mean the bug with importing save from ME1 and face aint carried over, that is said to be fixed in next patch. (wee bit late eh?)
Charge-Nova-Charge-Nova-Charge-Nova-Repeatxinfinity Congratulations you are now a vanguard. And yes, engis are awesome. Especially salarian ones. Dat decoy and energy drain.
