I don't see Sent broken in this game so much as there's no reason not to have him on your team.

His normals look pretty slow, but who cares, right? His hitbox is huge and there are bound to be Sentinel only combos but he has the highest stamina in the game and incredible power behind his attacks. Not to mention X-Factor on him is pretty much god-mode.

There are some downsides, but the pros far outweigh the cons.

In conclusion: Tryhard team set-ups = Anything + Sentinel. Hipster team set-ups = Anything without Sentinel.

Arthur is the new Cable.

When I get enough money, this is now on my priority list. I'll probably get it on the weekend. Still sticking with DP, Cap, and Joe.

I'm not a fan of viewtiful joe he's very sludgey movement wise. So far my main team consists of Spencer Wesker and Dante. I'd take challenges but I suck so I'd just get owned

Ive been rocking Dante and Zero like i planned, but im still figuring out m #1 team

I'll be on tonight and play versus after recording me going at arcade mode cold.

My first team will be Zero, Wesker, Joe.

My second team may be Arthur, Haggar, Doom.

EDIT: I've found my first team to be Zero(Ryuenjii)/Wesker(Samurai Edge)/Amaterasu(Cold Star)

I'm still experimenting with my Arthur team but Doom is definitely on it. Haggar's lariat is a good "get off me!" button but I haven't used in real situations yet so I'm still debating who else to use. Amaterasu with Bloom to help keep meter up sounds neat.

I'm thinking of making a third team to fill out my reserve card to be Haggar-centric by having Spencer with Wire Shot helping him out. Still thinking what would help in the third spot but as usual, Sentinel doesn't hurt huh?

Anyone who owns this, is there any joke characters, and if there is, who are they? I am hoping to make a joke team as a screw-around team like my main of 3 Servbots on MvC2.

If by joke you mean excessively bad, then no. If you're looking to troll, try stuff like picking Amaterasu and spamming H, Spamming Air H with Tron, or just learning to zone well, there's plenty of characters that can do that well.

Still haven't decided on a team, but Character/Morrigan with meter building assist/Phoenix works pretty well. Maybe Felicia (down down H builds meter), or just a generally good character (Dante, Deadpool, Sentinel, etc.)

DAMN YOU CAPCOM! YOU TOOK AWAY MY SERVBOT :x ! Ah well, I guess I'll just have to use a team consisting of a bunch of MODOKs.

You can only have one of each character, offline and online. =P

And jeezus, do people still complain about MNC's matchmaking? MvC3's game searching is straight outta 2004. When I try searching games online, it's like I'm finding people using the post office.

I'm looking to build a new team based around Shadow Harmonizer Morrigan as well as utilizing her Astral Vision hyper or Hsien-Ko while abusing her super armor hyper to power her Senpu Bu swing assist.

I could use both on one team, but I'm looking for input on who you guys think would have good synergy with them for a team.

For example, I like the synergy between Arthur and Doom while Haggar's lariat assist punishes enemy approaches. And Amaterasu's Cold Star assist works wonders in helping Zero or Wesker cross up enemies.

So yeah: who would Morrigan/Hsien-Ko appreciate as team mates in your opinion?
