Upload few PA logs with crashes on the end. Not one Mac OS X generate, but game logs of PA:
    http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/648814845443326834/
It's just easier to access those as they collected by Uber crash tracker that also show "popularity" of specific crash.

Sadly there nothing you can really do about that on Mac.

Though at least one of crashes you posted is in "crom::AsyncParallelForDriver" and this one isn't Mac-specific problem for sure. It's known to developers and also affect Windows / Linux.

    • For Mac OS X:
      ~/Library/Application Support/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/log/
This folder does not exist on my computer. Thoughts?

Hope someone who use Mac can answer. I think it's log directory as before mods was stored there, but not sure if something changed now.

Pasted path from forum into Finder, Go -> Go to Folder..., went to my log dir fine. Log file is dated today. Of course my system is still using 'mods' enough though a new install will use 'client_mods', so it's not impossible that newer setups are doing something different.

I tried the same thing. I even deleted the entire "~/Library/Application Support/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation" folder and it was happily regenerated and populated with a log folder containing a log. It should definitely be there.

Okay, using the go to folder option worked. I guess it must have been a hidden folder for some reason.

These are the two log files I found in the folder. Hopefully they are useful.

Let me know what I can do next to help.

The Library folder is hidden by default:
    • open your home folder in finder
    • view menu > show view options > show library folder

I have the library folder visible. but for whatever reason the uberentertainment folder is non-existant in application support.

Should I delete the log file and tryand get some new crash data?

At moment game automatically remove old logs on startup.
Next PTE will introduce different behavior though.

Thanks. I think @jorgenpt may want to see it as there no indication that crash dump was created.

Not sure what crashdump looks like in a log file, but I don't think its present in this log either.

This crash occurred while the game was paused.

Crash info should looks like that:
    Code:
[02:59:23.714] INFO Crash uploaded, link developer to http://crashes.uberent.com/report/index/bp-4c98b64e-8820-47a5-822d-911172150114
[02:59:23.714] INFO Previous crashes stored in C:\Users\Usuario1\AppData\Local\Temp\checkpoint.cpk
[02:59:23.745] INFO Uploader exited with exit code 0

Interesting if other Mac users have this crash info or not...
Sadly file you just uploaded don't have crash info too.

Okay, thanks for showing me, fortunately (or unfortunately I suppose) crashes are very easy to reproduce, so I will keep trying.

I've been running 1v1 AI skirmishes of AI vs AI, but I can't seem to get a crash. If you start an AI skirmish, set the game to 1 Spectator slot, join that slot and add another AI, then start -- do you see it crashing as well?

    @jorgenpt

I don't see crashes that often with static spectating on a local server (default for AI skirmish if you're system can handle it).

    You have to interact.

I tested a 1 ai vs 1 ai and didn't see a crash, and then tested a 6 ai ffa and got this crash. Still no crashdump, although there are also two "server" files in the log folder which I have not seen before. Would it be helpful for me to upload those as well?
