I think we need to move away from the cogs the first faction all ready claimed it with and eagle.

Bio hazard symbol is a good direction to go I shows their means to their main end goal.
Light the bio hazard symbol on fire could be a nice touch.

I think a circuit/biohazard sign would be perfect. I like the robotic hand idea artistically too.

I quite like the design with the hand reaching out to put out the flame.

But isn't a flame or fire a sign for intelligence?
Because the Commander is intelligent I would rather replace the flame with a plant or a skull or something more organic.
In spite of that, I think that that is a perfect Emblem!

i like what Teod proposed, but i think we had more than enough cogs.

the idea of an electronic circuit-style logo is nice, i'm trying to sketch out something, but it doesn't look as good as i would like

hmm, i finished my stuff, it doesn't look as bad i i thought, but is still awkward, well that's just to give you an idea anyway.

basically it's supposed to be a tree, but made out of electronic stuff, to illsutrate the "replace life by machine" idea.

i'm actually pretty sure it would look better with a processor at ce center, and with this kind of circuits, but it's well above what my drawing skills and patience allows.

also the "biohazard" sign made out of electronic circuits could look great, does someone wants to give it a try ?

Says "we like nature" but with an "only if it's artificial" sidenote.

don't mind the canadian flag :p

I don't think that floral-like ornaments are good idea. How often does a faction use picture of their enemy as the logo? Even christians with their cross are more subtle and symbolic than that.

well, usually a faction will take a symbol that defines it, but in times of war it wouldn't surprise me to see flags representing their ennemy crushed rather than themselves.

i like the idea of a robotic version of something living for this faction.

i suppose a robotic bunny would be dumb, and a robotic humanoids wouldn't be very informative since that's essentially what commanders are, so a robotic plant seems fine to me.

plus, making robotic plants strongly shows that they want to replace life by machines really bad, since that's probably the last think anyone with a sane mind would think about robotizing. that would be an awful lot of work to replace something completely harmless with approximatively no gain in the process

A Robotic plant then? Hm maybe something adding up to the hand!
    Her's my idea:
Two Robotic Hands with this mechanized plant hovering above it. The only problem with that would be that Commanders have no hands...

OR: A Commander (stylized) crushing a whole forest down, maybe?

lapantouflemagic which program did you use to make that circuitry?
Because that tree with to hands holding it would be perfect I think :D

I don't really have the time to make it more stylistic and symbol-like, but the basic idea is a robotic thing in an organic shape.

I was originally planning on just stylistic solar panels in the form of a tree but i simply don't have the time.
