    I would like varrak to be part of the livestream, speaking about the future of the graphic engine, since, as stated in his opengl presentation, there are many things he could not experiment on because it didn't have enough time. People from behind the scene, especially varrak, really deserve to be part of such livestream :)

    I doubt that would go over well...

    The only way it would maybe work is if the Kickstarter was to add something new and crazy that hasn't been discussed – like new factions or something.

    A few questions that I could come up with. :)

    Do you think there should be more work on the biomes and if so what exactly would you like to improve? If no then the next question

    How does Uber (or there own opinions) feel about the terrain and height variation of the biomes. Do they think they're interesting enough with chokepoints, mountains and different atmospheres. With atmospheres I mean the following; For instance lava planets having geothermal holes which give out extra power or water planets where a sort of tidal generators give out more power (using them in small rivers?)

    What do you think of orbital? Do you have any thoughts of creating more diversity with orbital and if so what kinda thoughts?

    Is it true that patrolling with lots of units creates massive lag and if so how come? can the lag be decreased?

    Would you ever kickstart a game again and let the community follow the development so closely?

    What is the best and worst experience of developing Planetary Annihilation?

    How is the new office?

    Will you do a stream when 1.0 is released?

    After the 1.0 can we expect more polishement of current features or adding new features?

    You give a great importance to the WYSIWYG paradigm but there are some heavy contradictions such as the dox being amphibious. Nothing tells it can move underwater, i don't remember any player not being confused by that. Do you intend to move away from it or come back to a more strict approach?

    When can we expect to have "The Hooks" to build a planet editor? Soon™

    There's nothing that shows the commander makes resources either - WYSIWYG doesn't literally mean you see everything visually on a unit, although that's good design if possible (some things you just can't convey this way though). WYSIWYG just means that if you see a tank, it's a tank. It's not a variant, upgrade or possibly different from any other tank that looks the same.

    In other words;
    A dox is a dox (of course, of course).

    I want to see the Annihilaser in action, then somebody smash something into the Metal Planet to show off the cool new Metal Planet craters :D

    As far as questions go:

    What's the order of priority on this list:
    • Offline play.
    • Save games.
    • Atmospherics.
    • Asteroid belts.
    • Darker nights.
    • Naval balance.
    • Submarines.
    • 40-person games.
    • Underwater bases.
    • Multiplayer Galactic War.
    • Reclaiming trees for Energy.
      • Failing that, whipping out the spray can and chroming all the things.
    • Expanding the unit/building roster.
    • Unit Cannons/Multi-Unit transports.
    • Geothermal Liquid Metal/Energy spots.
    • Nuking incoming KEWs into oblivion.
    • Expanding the range of CSG brushes; adding cliffs.
    • Capture/Resurrect Tools (as in Total Annihilation).
    • Reimplementing Unit wrecks for reclamation (pathing).
    • Neutral/Hostile/Wrecked bases generating as part of maps.
    • Building on/in CSG terrain features (tall mesas & deep valleys).
    • Ladders, matchmaking (added this for the sake of those who care passionately).
    • Revamping the Mountain Biome - the sharper mountains in Alpha looked great.
    • Improved planet generation tools (so we can better control when things like the Mountain Biome show up :D).
    ?

    I can't wait for launch. Congratulations to the guys at Uber, this is one awesome game!

    1. how is the status/priority on making more transportationoptions and functions available to players? ...
    right now imho PA is lacking flexibility in macroing armies across planets ...


    2. any plans on improving planet generation ? ... needs more options ... such as having either islands of varius sizes or big continents or one big continent surounded by water/lava making that with changing seeds is pretty dificult and timeconsuming ...
    having the option to set and propper spread the number of mexxes availabe on a planetoid and have them be visible in the editor would be also nice ... would help for making more ballanced and varied battlefields imo ...
