However, just because people have their hearts set on a particular idea, does not mean that implementing that idea is healthy for PA.

A few differing opinions, and supporting arguments, might help Uber work out what should be in the game.

However, just because people spread their own opinion in a lot of threads does not mean that is healthy for PA.

You are pro discussions. I am pro polls. You have your arguments. I have mine.
I know the problems of polls much better now. But I also know the problems of discussions.

One single opinion is going under in hundrets of others. And it is a tough question to decide which opinion is worth it to be heard and which is not. What is "healty" for the game, what's not? Who knows that?
I don't think this is something that we can know yet. And I don't want to discuss about what's better: A single opinion or the opinion of the masses. Both are important. And hundrets of single opinions are the opinions of the masses. Nothing will fall under the table. Every single opinion will be heard.

Maybe it is the best to create a poll and discuss about it. Don't know. :D

this is my basic problem with polls.
Poll results imply statistical significance even when there isn't necessarily one.
A discussion thread might be as biased or limited on participation as a poll, but an opinion combined with some sort of argument can have relevance even if just used as inspiration or idea. Sure a discussion is more to read, but it contains also more usable information.
