I think 100 is a better level cap then 99. 99 kind of leaves you unfulfilled. Like 99% instead of 100%

Definitely. I really like the leveling up aspect (not just in this game, but in all games). It feels like I'm kinda stuck at 99. Honestly, maybe just changing the color of the level when resetting would suffice. I want to be able to level up again, but at the same time I want the acknowledgement that I have reached 99 already.

I chose level 99 because it ends up looking like jersey numbers. You don't see many sports with jersey numbers over 2 digits.

Good to know you guys want to go beyond 99... might have to put that on our radar for the future. ;)

i want 99.99 oooo. no i think that at the point you hit 99 the challlenges that reamin are either ridicules or un thinkable. maybe at 99 it would turn everything from 2500 to 5000 and headshots from 500 to 2500. stuff like that

Well how about double zero, 00, instead of 100?

Taking a note from Valve, it would be nice if there were more options for equipment and clothing. Each would need to be balanced so this might require balancing the existing game first but the idea would be to give us something to use our lifetime earnings on other than Protags.

Items could include alternate weapons, new equipment, alternate skins, skill options, etc. A Support could be changed from an Italian plumber into an extra from the Sopranos. He could exchange his Shotgun for a Revolver (longer range, slow rate of fire). He could exchange his Firebase for Rocket Sentry that has a minimum firing distance but causes splash damage. I could continue but basically the game is limitless even without new classes as you can modify existing ones. The bonus is that it would give us something to work towards once we reached the level cap.

I would love to be able to purchase some new armor for my tank. I have a ton of "cash on hand" and I would like something to spend it on. Maybe an armor effect?

Like I said since they are clones treat'em like Nascar. Sponsors all over their armor earned from using a certain endorsement x amount of time/matches/kills with. Possibly even a certain combo of endorsements. You could also add protags for them as well.

Yeah, the only problem I had with this idea is that you don't want to make Sponsors less important so it shouldn't be something like extra speed for less health. Sometimes proper balance can be a bit tricky.

EDIT: Before I continue to accidently derail this thread I'll start a new one. Let's continue this conversation over there: http://www.uberent.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3564.

I don't think adding anything that adds increased stats would work. The game is balanced they way Uber wants it to be. Sure they still have a few tweeks to make but adding something that can possibly throw the game balance off is just too much work, well to get working right.

When I said "armor effect", I was thinking something like being on fire for the entire match, or looking like your armor has a 10000 volts going through it.

Ah, I understand now. For the sake of not derailing this thread though, please add your ideas to this one instead: http://www.uberent.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3564. I agree with your idea, I just don't want to turn 3 pages of thoughts into a new subject because I went off on a tangent by mistake.
