Im bashing on the use of exodus to advertise it.

I think there was just some confusion over how much I influenced exodus to help me spread the word about this mod. Exodus often promotes mods through the mods of the month posts and this time they suggested an entire article for this one. I was very surprised and grateful to wake up one morning and see the article half completed for me.

To be fair, I did unfairly influence exodus by naming every commander after them. This has accomplished my real secret agenda and now they all like me more. Soon I will use my new influence to buy a tropical island and declare it Conundrumland.

Like I said, it's probably just a little paranoia about it.

No offence intended, as it does look really polished.

It's freaking hard to make Modauthor's write something about their mod, believe me ! I've stalked some people for days (http://exodusesports.com/article/mini-mods-spotlight/).
And we are always open for Article/Guide submissions and promote them just like this, in fact I would love some more community written stuff that's not direct from exodus members.

On topic : the PRoeleert commander is the best !

If any mod author wants to contact exodus, provide content, we would happily host a nice article or guide depending on content and content type and then promote the same way.

Balance is far from perfect, but always remember that this is a mod for teams and the commanders your opponents pick should influence your own team's choices.

As an example, OtterFamily is really strong at pushing forward but what happens if you hit him with boom bots? He has no uber cannon and no normal anti-ground gun. ZaphodX can take a beating and run up fast to kill any units guarding the OtterFamily, leaving it open for attack. Conundrum and Bsport have weapons that will destroy the whole force guarding OtterFamily in a single shot! Tripax can build catapults to hit him from a distance and Martenus has his snipers. Sambasti can even load up a bunch of units and inferno drop him!

This is just one example of how a commander can just walk right through your base if you are unprepared, but careful planning will leave you able to counter most aggressive moves.

You are being very silly. Exodus can promote whatever they like. Stop the derail.

Pretty sure some people just thought I was posting under the exodus account and using it to promote my own mod / faking an endorsement from exodus. We watch our own accounts closely enough that nobody in exodus would get away with that, but I can see how this set off red flags. Hopefully enough of the confusion has been cleared up and maybe now we can go back to talking about the actual mod.

Where's the Geers commander that shoots gifs and screws with your head by showing you hyperdimensional objects beyond your species' comprehension?
