Also, the entirety of this tournament setup hurts my head. @cwarner7264 can you make a visual representation(interpretive dance!?) of how things will work? Please add lots of colors and dinosaurs and unicorns and dragons and stuff.

On the dance format:

I'm working on getting the dance itself sorted out today. I did have a routine mapped out provisionally but then realised that round 4 would be problematic given the 10 player maximum restriction (yes, I did approach Uber to see whether they might consider raising it, but DENIED). So somehow I need to incorporate the dropping out of the two lowest players which is a slight challenge, but hope to have something out within today.

On casting:

I'm planning to make the qualifier tournament open to several casters, so hopefully everyone should get a shot at it. However, I will make it clear now to temper expectations that I intend for the Grand Dance to be casted by one channel, which obviously means that some people will be disappointed. Please do not be offended if you don't get asked to cast the Grand Dance, because it simply isn't possible to bundle you all into on channel!

If you need help for the qualifier management let me know.

I've got a good idea of how I want to handle casting, I think. I'll type something up in a bit.

Okay - casters, here's the deal. I'll put these details in the OP as well for convenient reference.

The qualifier is open to as many casters as want to get involved.

• PM me on here with a link to the Twitch channel on which you will be broadcasting.
• You must be dualcasting. Please also mention in the PM the names of both the casters.
• I'll keep you advised further as we get closer to the tournament itself

The Grand Dance will have a single Twitch channel on which to focus the event. I've not yet decided on who will be doing this.

Dualcasting is a nice choice. I might give this a shot.

I need to get twitch streaming working first.

I hate Adobe so much and the Flash Media Live encoder app is such crap. It crashes whenever I try and start broadcasting. And the built in twitch won't work either. It can't keep a stream going.

And I have 5 megabits of upload. That should be plenty.

My only other streaming option is a $500 software.

Alternatively, here is a League of Legends guide on how to stream from your Mac. Looks like all free software to me, though it sounds like this may be the approach you're already taking.
