I can handle being wrong. I've been wrong on the forum before, and I'll be wrong on the forum in future.

I just don't get my panties in a knot about it.

You were angsty well before anybody started with the character attacks. I'm just having fun at your expense now. Truth be told, from what I can see of you last 100 or so posts here; you're the one who can't handle being wrong.

I find your antics on here so damn hilarious that I go looking for your posts.

Now, an attempt to get back on topic; recall (in whatever form it took) fits within the SupCom lore far far better than an escape pod does.

If a pod is a good idea, then a giant megasuit for the commander is also a good idea. Pods go in commanders in much the same way that commanders go in megasuits. Inception Command Unit 'til your heart's content.

The commander no longer becomes the unique, irreplaceable, unit that it once was; the escape pod takes that role. No matter how you spin it; at some point you have an irreplaceable unit. Should you have a get-out-of-gaol-free-card and save that unit? And if so, how do you save that unit?

I think people would be good to familiarize themselves with supcom lore in this intance.

There was an 'official' 12 book fanfic for supcom made, I'll get a link to the section pertaining to recall technology in a second.

(I would also recommend reading them, they are surprisingly well written...)

Well just writing the url is enough, clickable links does the rest(for me).
