I used to just worry about my K/D ratio, but now i'm all about winning, and a few kills here and there but winning > all else

The way I see it, for some classes K/D is their objective.

Yeah, you may gripe about an Assassin running around, shanking pros in the back thinking "that's great for K/D, but are you helping to win?"

Or your Sniper, hanging as far back as possible, juicing off bots and popping heads every chance he gets.

The Assassin's sneaky ways serve a purpose, vital to victory. She keeps the other pros from aquiring, and using juice. the more often you kill the other pros, the fewer times they are going to be able to get juice. Along that line, she can sneak up on someone, saving their juice, and finish them before they can trigger it.

Same goes for the sniper, more or less.

That being said, I've seen some very good pro v pro combat classes (Assassin, Sniper, Gunner, and Assault) rack up some ridiculous K/D spreads, and lose. I suppose the rest of their team was awful, but it's still quite satisfying to see their moneyball blow up after getting raped by someone the whole match.
