Your rank doesn't imply skill. I don't care how many matches you've played or who you've played with. The information in your guide suggests that you know little about how the game works on a competitive level.

As far as the gamertag you're looking at it. And no, I bet you haven't won the match before, several times

Idk know who you are and I've never seen you before, judging by your "I'm better then you" attitude and terrible endorsement choices I'd go so far as to say....oh who am I kidding....I don't care about you... :)

So that means that Gold armour beats Bronze armour. Thanks for being a massive hypocrite.

EDIT - What's stopping us to flank you? You say so yourself that you can flank us, so i'll just kill you, wait outside your spawn room and just keep killing you over and over again.

The exact kind of elitist attitude I'm talking about. "I'm one of the best so I know it all."

No kidding. I never said that it didn't. Way to be a total douche and take something logical and make it critical.

Well, for one, while I have an actual team of good players they are what is stopping you from just getting entire map control.

Nothing is stopping you from flanking me. That is the point I am bringing up. Nothing is stopping me from flanking you. If you're caught off guard, then you're caught off guard end of story.

And to whoever mentioned that they have turned around and killed other gunners, you're not alone. I can do that as well. It's not a hard thing to do when your opponent literally sucks and just stands there and lets you shoot them.

Bullshit. Just saying. Look at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a real life example. People under 115 pounds can take down raw strength over 210 pounds. All because of technique and strategy as opposed to raw power and just flailing your arms.

The funny thing is we kinda do  . Me and Tom#'s are easily top 5 Gunner, we have tried and tested most builds, and the best ones we have found are Armour/RoF/Acc and RoF/Armour/Acc. Why else do you think they are called the "generic" builds? Because they ARE the best builds. Have you ever seen a good Gunner use RoF/Speed/Acc?

It's like me saying the best Tank build is Crit/Speed/Juice. You MAY get one or 2 kills against bad people, but you'll get completely slaughtered against good people.

Then don't use this guide or set in a competitive match. Sounds pretty ******* simple to me. That extra speed boost is there from the beginning of every life and can add a few extra benefits. If you don't want to use it then fine. But I'm telling you, it works just fine in pub matches. It probably wouldn't stand up to many people in a private match.

No. Skill level determines the final outcome. Sorry but it's just like a game of chess. You can use an opening book that has hardly any lines or precision or sense to it and take out a player much weaker then you are by rating. It works this way because you have more knowledge and a better technique that, in the end, will give you the advantage.

I feel as if I'm the only one here trying to give any real evidence other then "I tried it, didn't work as good as this, so it's ******* ****." I can admit that certain sets work better then other. But you can't seem to admit that isn't just the setup that determines who is the better player. This is a team based game. Using a character and a unique personality to complete a team is what will set you apart from the rest. You can use the same endorsements and still play different then anyone else. Some will play passive, some aggressive, some methodical, it all changes and depends on the person that is using the character. Can you not even agree to that? Or since you don't like my ideas, my posts or the fact that I'm new, you'll fight tooth and nail to say otherwise?

I'm not disagreeing with you because you're new, but because you're wrong.

If you run with a "generic" build you'll die far less times and will be one endorsment up from RoF/Speed/Acc (Armour).

    Here's an example, Gunner A uses Armour/RoF/Acc. Gunner B uses Speed/RoF/Acc

1.Gunner A beats Gunner B because he has armour
    2.Gunner A gets 3 speed pick-ups
3.Gunner A Now has an extra endorsment compared to Gunner B, and will beat him 90% of the time (if they are of the same skill).

I agree with that. I said I agreed with that the first time I replied to you. Truth be told I came to use a lot of the cookie cutter classes before I even came to these forums so they became a bit old and mundane for me to use. The sets I gave earlier are meant for a different style of play. Kinda like the SMG Sniper. It's not quite as good as the full blown Sniper, but it is a nice little change that nets you kills. There have been quite a few times I've escaped from death because I've had both Speed and armor on. RoF, Speed, Armor. No accuracy sucked but my goal was more to destroy turrets and bots while having my speed to close gaps quicker and mess up the enemy gunners. Not the best setup, but the style was different and it threw people off. And yes, if I had accuracy, and then picked up Speed, an extra endorsement. I get that. I'm not "brain dead." The sets aren't even my main sets that I use. They work in pub matches, and even in pub matches that have had people like Nova Warlord, Pyre and others that are on the same team while I have a team. Not saying those players suck, in fact I'm saying they are formidable opponents. That's how I know that, in conjunction with a team, the way I use the set works. Maybe not as good or not as great as the cookie cutter, but it does get the job done and allows me to throw an extra shock to the enemy when I kill them.

the gunner is not meant to outsmart other players, and any decent gunner will ALWAYS have tabs on another gunner, so you are not going to be able to outplay any decent gunner. this isnt brazilian karate, its MNC.

a better comparison to what you are saying would be:

in sumo wrestling, the 150lb wrestler can not beat the 500lb guy head on, so he just waits until the big guy isnt looking and then strikes.

the builds are bad, and you are nerfing yourself f by using them. saying you can do well with these builds is no different than saying me or wildman could maintain a positive k/d as an aggressive gunner while using skill recovery/juice/speed.

The concepts of my metaphors and similes are what counts, not the reality of the two differences. In BJJ competitions, both players aware of each other as well. In my example the same is said. A gunner who can claw and jump and bunny hop while dodging the gunner just standing there on the ground is, essentially, the Jiu Jitsu master while the other is just the fighter trying to blindly throw his fists.

lol Sumo wrestling has weight classes for a reason.

I'm not sure how many more times I have to say I understand what you are saying, before you start to understand that I believe, agree and even support your views. All I am saying is that this guide explores a new type of metagame for the said classes.

I only play Gunner when I need my K/D to go down a point or two. Seems like no one appreciates hugs anymore. If only I could be faster...

Sorry Bobomb Bob, I'll remember to send you some mail the next time you leave the game I'm in. ;)

If either of you want to question my skills as a team player, send me a friend request and let me play a match with ya. I can play all six classes, my worst being the Tank and my Best being the Sniper.

Just jokin no need to get angry, anyway i feel your guide shouldn't be for new players just starting out but rather people that already have a decent grasp on the game and just wanna screw around in some pub lobby :ugeek:

You should get on a team - there seems to be a lack of snipers... or at least I seem to remember a team or two needing a sniper, or are you already on one?
