It is physically impossible to play this game alone now.

CoD has a TEAM Deathmatch mode. Bad argument. And why should we constantly have to find people to play with? Sometimes I like to get on and play alone. I don't want to have to look for someone just to play a game.

As for "splitting the playerbase" ... enough people play that this should not be a problem right now. I hate having to play against parties. Like I said, I just won't do it; if I get into a game with a party I will quit immediately. It already results in teams waiting for extended periods of time to find a game. I don't see what making a mercenary playlist would change about parties.

unfortunately, all I really get to do is play solo since the three friends that have this game hardly play nowadays.

I still have loads of fun whether I end up winning or losing.

I figure that I just have to take it with a grain of salt since I am playing solo.

Either you didn't read anything here, or you ride the short bus. And, looking at your grasp on the English language, I'm leaning towards the latter.

I'll summarize, to save you an hour's worth of work.

There's not always someone available. When there's not, you're unable to play a fun, decent game of Crossfire. Simple enough, no?

Also, in a rather stunning display of a lack of thought on the matter, you fail to realize CoD and Halo have to same problem, just less prominent. Should you go in a game by yourself, and be honored with people who just found out that grenades go BOOM, whilst your enemies have memorized the spawn locations and spawn times of the weapons, you will lose, unless you're just plain better by far.

The same applies to this game. Unless you far outstrip you entire team of opponents, a loss is inevitable with teammates who don't know what they're doing.

Truly, a post such as yours is a rarity. It hurts to realize I must make simple points even simpler to get them across to you.

I'm willing. I've only got like, three people on my Friends List that play the game. Only one's readily available most times. GT is the same as my screen name.

it sucks for me because the few games i do find the other team is ALWAYS the same people ALWAYS playing the same classes, a gunner with a pocket support, a sniper camping his own base, an assault following the gunner, it is pretty hard to beat 4 on 1 in that instance as a gunner+support+assault=instant death and if you do try and run, the sniper will more then likely kill you.....its a pain

I always play a Tank because no random I've played WITH, picks a tank...ever. Like no joke. Its always assault assault assault, random bad assassin, gunner, turtle support.

Sadly when they dont have mics and cant take, or give instructions, I pretty much feel the same way since I mostly play a tank. I'm not sure how this affects people that play sniper or assault all the time, if at all.

I recently cleared my list as I haven't gotten an invite from anyone in a loong time.
Been playing solo for the most part and wouldn't mind running with people again.

Stomping pubs is boring. I've played exclusively by myself from level 1-92 and yesterday played with top-50 players for the first time in a group. It was boring, as each game was effectively over in about 1 minute as the individual players on the other side (note I didn't say 'team' as in the absence of communication or coordination there is no 'team') dropped out after being killed 3 or 4 times in immediate succession and having all their turrets wiped and their ball dropped.

This has everything to do with what makes the game great; it has alot of depth (for a team based shooter) and as such disparities in skill and knowledge translate into very lopsided matches very quickly. If you don't know what you're doing this game is more daunting than any other FPS I've ever experienced, and I can imagine it being extremely daunting to noobs because you would get the impression almost immediately that there is no way you can win.

This game does have a problem, and a 'Mercenary' playlist would go a long way to solving it. You're going to see the player base dwindle to only the top 100 or so as a) people like me who enjoy the game and play it decently but don't want to stomp pubs/have to find a team to play a few rounds leave and b) people buy the game and subsequently get wrecked by teams consisting of players from the boards, leave after their first ten minutes and never come back.

True. Which is why whenever I play with more than one person who knows what they're doing (usually only takes that much) I'll set some type of restriction. Otherwise, it's not fun for either side.

If it's ONLY one person with me, I'll try. Unless it's, again, a clear domination. The only exception is when something/someone irritates me. Then, show no mercy.

Now to go and get new internet buddies.

Yeha i join a game this morning ith you bolt and teo and i was lucky enought ot be on your team. you guys were fighting the Dr. clan and just stomping them. all i saw on their score boards was straight zeros for kills. carry that my friend.

We had an awesome match on spunky 3v6 and won ;D

I hopped on this morning for a bit and first team was Shinigami Eyes and God in a Box on my team against the Dr. Clan. It was a total drubbing. Most of the Dr's left and then I got put on the team opposite Eyes and Box. I picked tank and Eyes' assault raped me. After dying 5 times I switched to Sin and wrecked their bots/jackbots/turrents and finished like 5-2-17 but had about 5K in cash and kept the match close to overtime. I think eyes went 47-8-3 and Box went 39-2-1 or something.

It's impossible to play this game alone and expect to win, but it is more fun knowing you're playing against some of the best out there right now, while trying to do what you can to keep it close.

Try assault.

Whenever I have retards on my team, I go assault and I usually win the game.

I outgun gunners, and snipe snipers with my nade launcher. <3

Im usually killing all the bots on the left side of any map, for some reason, I hate going right side. But yeah. EHehehe

Playing to keep it close can be fun. But getting incredibly frustrated while doing so due to multiple deaths and watching your Gunner Deploy and Undeploy in a corner usually pushes me to the brink.

I like Assault. But my main issue is when I'm encountering a Gunner and an Assault running together, give or take a Support.

Yeah I got sick of playing solo while I had 23 friends online playing MnC, so I deleted EVERYONE.

This was maybe half a week ago.
So far two people have noticed haha. ouch.

I've been partying up with random (not bad) people that have mics in lobbies and it's been pretty fun so far.

I agree, too many pub stompers out there that taunt after it takes 3 people to kill you. Me and Dude matched up against 5 people with CBC tags, and they did everything they could to end it as soon as possible. As soon as our terrible teammates left and I invited a few people in, one of them quit, then after 2 games of utter destruction the rest of them quit.

Funny how people enjoy playing on stacked teams so much, but can't take a loss even if it's fair, or still in their favor.
