Tell them you want to leave. They'll fix anything & give you good deals.

    Tier 1 support is legit.
    Me: "Internet's not working".
Support: "Unplug it and plug it back in..... did that work?"
    Me: "No"
Support: "Alright, I'm transferring you to a specialist."

WHAT ARE THEY EVEN THERE FOR?

Also, why are you paying that much for such internet. I'd imagine in Tokyo you can get some good ****.

The apartment I live is controlled heavily by an old fat hag. She doesn't want fiber optics in her property for some reason.

That's probably the problem of 90% of the calls they get.

    Chinese Yuan =/= Japanese Yen

4500 JPY = 44.54 USD at the moment.

Thanks everyone for the help. I also appreciate the people who bragged their internet speed.

Anyway, my friend told me that some people upgrade their Internet by themselves. I've watched a couple of vids on YouTube about it. Seems too fake to me.

Anyone knows how to do it the right way?

Well, you could upgrade the speed yourself if the bottleneck was on your end. It's probably not though.

That's pretty normal for university lines.

My recently upgraded net, best possible in my city. Kinda pathetic for "best possible" but I'm reasonably satisfied.

I'll be moving to Saitama around September and change my Internet to Flets Hikari.

100mb down and 100mb up, at least on the contract.
