I actually gotta agree with shammas, reload speed isn't that great.
The reload is already pretty quick.

so are skill renegeration. for the tank and the assault.

why not have it faster? can you not find any use for doing things quicker, thus doing them more often and worrying about doing it less?

ill let you know i come from CoD, where sleight of hand is used just for s*** and giggles. and when i reload just for the s*** of it, i giggle. i like giggling when playing games, so ill continue lmao.

nobody else loves being able to rapidly empty a clip without having to look at ammo left, and then the look of it when you yank a clip out and cram another in, and fire carelessly again? makes you feel like forest gump when he assembles his rifle

Because the endorsement slot will be put to better use with many other things like rof/speed/armor

    MinMaxing

Reload speed is just something Id never put on a class.
    Maybe gunner....but..probably not.

I reload like I'm on crack when playing the assault, old habit from cod as well.

Actually I played some cod4 with hudson earlier, fun stuff.

Charge 3 + death blossom is much more powerful than death blossom + death blossom.

Charge 3 + gold skill recovery and bronze Speed + pickups makes the tank VERY hard to keep up with/escape.

If you are caught reloading after a death blossom at a time when having ammo in your jet gun would make a difference, the enemy is in charge range. Destroy them.

Product grenade's blind/area denial will buy you more than enough time to evade and reload.

Very rarely will you need to DB a bot wave more than once, unless they are upgraded and overhealed.

I'd really only ever consider running reload speed on a jet only tank on laseRazor, just because the Lanes are so small, and action tends to occur quicker due to map size.

Honestly, I think speed is my most controversial choice, since speed is available through drops on the ground, and some people would view it as an endorsement waste.

The thing is, the speed upgrades are TEMPORARY if you pick them up, rather than wearing them as an endorsement, so I find it worth while to make sure my default movespeed is always greater than normal.

I guess the main difference is I am speaking from a solo stand point, not a party.

    I've been running a build that goes: Rof/Clip Size/Skill

The clip size is super awesome on the jet gun. I need to try skill as gold though... sounds awesome.

Actually that's only partially true. You gain an endorsement level permanently when you grab a speed pickup, AND you get a major temporary boost as well. When the temporary boost wears off your base speed will be higher. Not to knock rolling silver speed, a fast tank is downright SCARY. Most people don't know how to deal with it.

Although, as I don't notice that much of a difference rolling a speed endorsement over default tank speed, I'm preferring silver reload atm. I find myself closing to point blank, deathblossom and charge finisher (or reverse if I had to use charge to close the distance) and after the reload, only 2 seconds until I can charge again. That skill refresh speed definitely makes your close combat much more brutal. Just watch out for gunners/snipers :D

If this information is true (and it SOUNDS correct now that I think about it), this is the most useful post I've read on these forums in quite sometime. Props, and Thanks!

Just to be certain, I tested this in a private match (side note: its hard to get speed drops to purposefully drop. I tried for 6 minutes and only got silver speed on the tank)

I used default tank builds for myself and second player. Second player spawned as default assassin to attempt to provide speed pickups. After silver speed, I let temp boost wear off, spawned second player as a tank and used it as a control.

Results: I am correct. On both counts, actually. One, speed pickups do upgrade your endorsement level for speed by one. Getting three in one life is as if you picked gold speed for your endorsement in customs. Two, Silver speed on a tank is a rather pitiful boost to run speed. Conclusion: Speed pickups work as I described, and the Silver endorsement slot is better used with a different endorsement than speed due to very small boost to walk speed (read: my OPINION.)

Anyone play with Gold Health Recharge? I tried this out yesterday and it gives you a massive survivability boost if you adapt your gameplay to match. As long as you have a chance to get out the firing line for a few seconds you're back to full health. If you go Deploy 2 you're back to max health in about 2 seconds.

I paired it with silver armour and the reduced firepower was more than made up for by the survivability because of the extra income from streaks, and the almost constant juice you can buy as a result.
