Streaming is a totally different quality to recording. After I re-render my high quality recording to upload to youtube it's at 8mbps bitrate. I can't edit obs files in sony vegas and I can't convert obs files to any format that Vegas can recognise. I've tried multiple times.

I guess my understanding of quality is just different from yours, as high the high quality settings of obs look near perfect to me. weird about vegas. I think youtube uses ffmpg to convert videos, maybe you could try that.

Sorry - my thoughts of your video was based off of your last youtube video, not your twitch recording. I'll admit, the twitch recording looks decent - I can see detail and there doesn't seem to be any movement distortion. Maybe I'll try to configure OBS and give it another try. Hopefully whatever format it uses VLC can convert to whatever youtube likes (I've been doing mp4's).

The Youtube video is a special case anyway, it was not a 1. person view and it was made by doing this:

    1. Play and record to a video with the same settings I use too stream
    2. Playback recorded video in vlc and record that while talking about it.
    3. Upload to youtube, you can btw directly upload files from obs no need for conversion.

So yeah I think for that workflow it looks okay ;)
