Idea: A Naval Carrier that can carry land units on its deck

    Having a Unit in the game that would be essentially a mobile terrain would be RAD!


    Imagine being able to build any unit or structure on a mobile unit. or maybe it would not even be a unit, but a mobile piece of terrain that is under natural control.


    Imagine putting a factory on a mobile unit. or maybe a super weapon...

    had this idea too; a carrier for naval units; one for aerial and one for ground unit (to go faster)

    You could clamp some large air transports to it and turn it into the helicarrier on the avengers film!

    That sort of thing would be neat in so much as it would allow the use of land based units in water. Now this may not apply to PA, but in SupCom you had mobile shield generators, radar jammers and stealth generators which on a naval platform would indeed be useful. It may be micro heavy though.

    I thought sea carriers were a waste of time..... air carriers move faster with the ferry command put 10 engineers on one factory tell the factory move order to the ferry point and shift click 3000 combinations of units. Sea ferrying seems weak. The game gives me the Impression we could all start on separate planets so the core idea is to expand asap to a point where you have enough resources to invade someone else's planet and on that note no need for water units unless underwater resources need defending which floating defences could handle.
