I'm fine with DLC, but the Beta skin should just be for the Beta players, as it's namesake says. I almost exclusively use the Beta gear myself. TF2 gear is probably at the mercy of Valve, so they may decide to rerelease it at a later point for money. All else seems fair game.

Beta gear should be for beta testers. Its usually always like that for any game anyways so i see no point in changing the tradition.

well tf2 gear is "owned" by valve, and uber cant just do whatever they please with it.
