I have one of those charging pads that charges the batteries in your wireless mouse if you put it on the pad. That way, you can put it on there when you're not using your computer and next time you use it your mouse will be fully charged.

I recently ordered a solar USB charger that can charge anything connected via USB (phone primarily), via it's own solar battery, that charges up at day, and can still be used at night. It has not arrived yet, so I don't know how good it actually is.

However, I don't use a wireless mouse for gaming. The very small chance it loses connection is still there. :p

Yeah, I was using a wireless mouse last year, and the freakin' money I went through just getting batteries for it...

Surely in today's advanced society there's a mouse that has both a cable and a battery?

I've had this thing for years and absolutely love it:

I think it's like 8 years old by now, and still works perfectly fine! Will soon buy a new one with a bigger pad.

Ooh is that a charge pad? Does it not interfere with anything else you use? I have issues with wireless headsets and stuff at home. My headset turns on and off for a few seconds when my phones wireless is on.

Wouldn't be too happy if that happened to my mouse or keyboard during a game.

My girlfriend's wireless mouse has been going for over a year now without needing new batteries. I think it's this one.

Yep, I have something similar, though my pad is much smaller, it is basically a platform where the mouse perfectly fits on. Like I said in my post, it charges your mouse whenever you're not using it.

I've never had any problems with wireless stuff affecting other wireless stuff, but my wireless mouse very rarely loses connection. You can do it on purpose too, if I lift the mouse up a centimeter or two above the mouse pad and drop it, it loses connection. Luckily, it tries to reconnect, which it does in a few seconds, which my previous wireless mouse didn't. I do not have a wireless headset though. I'm not a fan of that. Or wireless keyboards.

Lol. Before I had my charge pad, I bought four rechargeable batteries, kept two of them charged, and once the other two were depleted, swapped them. Never had to buy more batteries than that.
