I seek criticism

I would jump down through the circular hole where the annihilator is located, activate my jetpack and fly towards my side of the base, I'd probably just fly to the jump-pad and then use jetpack/charge and escape back into my base.

The other choice would be juice, if I have it.

The other choice is bomb the gunner and kill him to a front to front battle.

And... another choice is to bomb jump on top of the glass walls, do a jetpack/charge back into my base.

The last choice is to kick *** and kill them both.

Another way to deal with it is charge over the gunner while throwing a bomb, it should land near him taking out a good amount of health, then take him out. After the gunner is dead, determine whether you should stay to fight the assault, if you feel there is absolutely no way to kill him, run away.

There are choices, but the choices vary greatly depending on the entire scenario of the map, the class make ups, the bots position, availability of juice machines, and lastly, the skill level of the gunner and assault that's trying to corner me.

If the gunner/assault were actually good, escape is the only choice. Fighting will only result in death.

If you run you lose map control at least you could put some shot's on them and get them weak for your team to take them out.

I think that most players underrate you. A lot of people say you suck. I disagree. You're a BEAST with that bomb. But if I can get around your assault bomb, you never really pose a threat to me. Take that for what it is.

What class do you play? It appears that my bomb is a key factor to beating you and without it, I'm harmless it sounds like haha.

i would say as far as criticism, try to rework armor into your build somehow. as effective as hit and run assault is against low-skill opponents, skilled players have enough awareness to know where the enemy is at all times and not get shot in the back

i would say as skilled as you are, play around with armor juice accuracy for a week or two and get the high damage output build out of your system. once you get used to the new gold-armor playstyle, swap RoF in for juice. the spike in damage should make you feel like you have as much damage output as unarmored, but this time with gold armor.

I believe he plays assassin. He's very good at staying hidden and pushes bots like hell without you even knowing. He plays the roll pretty well and plays with the objective in mind. I don't know if knowing this changes how you'd take what he wrote, but I can see how a cloaked assassin who is pushing bots doesn't have much to worry about except your bomb.


I played you again last night and noticed you were running a build that I had been toying around with. I still haven't decided what my silver endorsement should be and need to work it out but I was enjoying that build. Unfortunately again I could never fight you comfortably due to the support who followed you all game, and my teammates were not as skilled at the game as you or I might be. I don't know if it was this thread or the support who was overhealing you but regardless I noticed the crazy amounts of pressure that you put on our team. You'd run but only in situations where you were very close to dying. I felt like I could notice the difference in plays style.

It's hard as hell to deal with you in pubs especially with any half decent support. The support you had wasn't the BEST, but he was pretty good. I'd love to see how your build and play style transfer into a private match. I know we were able to play one before but I think you'd do better off this time around with the new build.

Armor/Acc/Skill is what I use for a change of pace and it seems only worthwhile in competitive play, which I don't like.

I understand what you're saying, but I do not see how the math correlates with high damage output with gold armor. Juice destroys everything no matter what you have in your endorsement, but slower RoF is slower RoF. I've played a few games where I just melee bots and juice, but I don't see how that's helping me improve my gameplay or my mindset.

And as far as skilled players and being aware, there's a difference in being aware of the situation and not being able to do anything in the situation.

A compendable hybrid build would be RoF/Armor/Acc or Skill and that's probably something I'll consider running to experiment the level of comfort.

But in all honesty, it took me one game to get used to Gold Armor and I've already stated the difference I've found in the different builds. Of course, what I wrote was more than one games worth of Competitive = gold armor. Pubs doesn't realyl warrant that, even agaisnt good players as far as I've seen.

My opinion though, so don't freak out.

I think both of our team were terrible, but regardless of how terrible they were in both teams, there will always be supports healing me because they know who I am, I suppose.

Hopefully this will be a worthwhile build change for privates, but that's a story for another time.

my thoughts are that (iirc) you dont want to give up the damage that your current build puts out.

my idea was that you take gold armor to get used to the defense bonus, and bronze accuracy to get used to the adjustment in accuracy. the silver endorsement [RoF] is replaced with a useless endorsement[juice].

play around with that build for a while, then once you get used to the low damage output, swap juice for RoF. the boost in RoF will make the armored build feel like the unarmored one you use now.

more or less just a shock to you to make the armored feel as powerful as unarmored.

I understand your logic. But with my mindset, there's no need to undergo a familiarity change. I do just fine with a complete different build swap, even in-between matches.

But really, I hope that's not something you suggest everyone do to change their gaming behavior/style because that's awfully strange.

I'm not necessarily saying I'm not willing to give up my damage output, but rather I'm saying there is clearly a difference in damage output for the AR/GL if I do so to choose gold Armor over gold RoF and even as silver RoF, I can notice a difference. That's all.

But I like easy kills...

Even though I do not run armor on my assault, I also enjoy killing assaults with no armor.
