He doesn't deserve to be lynched, nobody does.

He is protesting against Steam by boycotting an unrelated game though. This isn't a steam game. This runs on a standalone.

He is lynching Uber for no reason, a lot more so than anyone is lynching him.

And, just for the record, if any "EULA change preventing lawsuits and forcing arbitration" protesters are reading this, do not retract anything because Uber does not require to use Steam. This kind of false acusations through a long infringement of rights rant is going to mislead people into protesting a company for reasons that make no sense as the company has no part in it.

Go protest to someone that did something wrong, like microsoft and valve. Quit using steam or windows. Apple might eventually do it, get ready to start using whatever makeshift operating system that people who use neither use.
    Soo...

Except for the minor detail that his whole premise (PA will only be available through Steam) is demonstrably wrong. There is no sane reason you could reach that conclusion - literally every single quote from the devs relating to distribution platforms contradicts his suggestion. There are a wide range of places (including the main kickstarter page) where Uber employees say that PA will be available through a wide range of distribution platforms. Therefore he is an idiot.

I really think he is an idiot. <3
I already saw that sort of reactions from kids that don't understand anything but think that something is wrong (even if it isn't) and go away with no return (basically ragequit).

I would suggest "don't feed the troll", but they seem to have left.
    Just let this thread die.

Completely irrelevantly to the OP, but relevantly to Steam: PA being on Steam is a great thing, because it is the single-easiest place to get access to a large number of PC game players.

If PA has one of those big adverts flashing up then it truly has a chance to be as big as TA. Without Steam it would take a miracle to make it more than a footnote in the history of a dead genre.

in other words, steam is graveyard for games and a good place to gather zombie players for a dead genre? ;)

Being on Steam OPTIONALLY is a great thing due to its publicity and accessibility to a grand mass of players.

Being available outside of Steam is a great thing as well. Let people choose what they are willing to bargain with. Some people are not willing to bargain with using Steam.
