    To start from the bottom, that was a poor argument for the slam being a ring out as its very easily avoidable... jump, jump doesnt save you from the level 2 grapple, And no, NO OTHER class has a ringout grapple at level 2, NONE, stfu. And an Assassin doesnt one-hit kill from the front, unless your completely retarded and don't use even bronze armor... which if you don't go play a different game. So to answer.. *sigh* your false statement, no none has the OPness of a level 2 grapple throw across the map.

    And to say the Assassin has a better grapple than the Assassin, sure the Assassin has a one-hit kill.. sometimes.. from the back, while the Sniper has a 95% for a kill from a front grapple.. it throws you off the map, and if i do believe so myself that is a one-hit kill, it also does the most damage of any grapple from the front. Your argument was pathetic on this one.

    And the Flak 3 grenade.. your saying once again the slam is OP for your defense...... someone NEEDS to learn the A button, can't 'A' Over a Flak grenade.

    And about the Sniper has the best Long, Medium, and short range.. i didnt even see you make an counter-argument... you just made some sarcasm as you didnt have the balls to admit Lief's statement was correct...

    About the bots.. why would you even mention that they should change the bot.. nowhere did Lief mention the bot, way to try to change the subject, everyone knows the bots suck. While the icetraps, with 3 you can stand between them to where noone can ever get you. and not everyclass can destroy them. Every class can destroy the bots.. to bring up the bots in your argument, was 1st grade, pathetic

    That's a terrible argument. Their bot has nothing to do with the skills the Pros have. What bot can heal? Why are you comparing a Pro's skills to those of bots or turrents?

    Are we talking about the Support? No we are not. And just an FYI, a level 3 Firebase does not do more damage nor does it have more range than a level 2 Firebase. You have yet to address anything about the quantity of the ice traps.

    Did I say anything about damage? My problem is that these shots should NOT activate off of anything belonging to the allied team. And you saying "little assassin kids" just makes you seem that much more childish.

    I have yet to see a Gunner or Assault lock down a lane the way a Sniper can. The Sniper can attack his own bots to keep Assassins and Tanks away from them, and he can attack them at their spawn from the safety of his base on half the arenas.


    If we are talking realism then an Assassin face grapple should be a OHKO. However, this game is NOT based on realism. The Sniper should NOT be able to OHKO any class just because a lucky bullet penetrated 3 bots.

    No, not only while juiced. A Sniper can do this even without juice.

    Again, I have yet to see any counter arguments whatsoever. You just admitted that Snipers gain juice at a ridiculous rate.

    Long range: Sniper Rifle. Med range: Flak + SMG. Close range: Grapple + SMG. Gunner's minimum damage will be reduced with the DLC so that sniping across the map won't be happening anymore. And you must be playing some pretty bad Snipers if you can sniper them with a Gunner. I don't need you telling me to learn tactics when clearly you don't have any of your own.

    You're kidding right? I can't even remember the last time a Gunner's slam hit me, it's that easy to dodge. The Flak not only affects the ground, but the air around it.

    Can, not will. Trap + Flak = dead. Yeah, that's fair.

    A Tank is supposed to be able to kill a Sniper that fast. I'm not talking about what the Tank can or cannot do. I'm talking about what the Sniper can do that he should not be able to do.

    Wrong, "bro." The Sniper's grapple takes priority over that of any other class when used at the same time, as was proven with testing. His grapple can also stop an Assault mid charge. And as far as the Gunner's grapple goes, it's incredible if used correctly, which most people don't seem to know how to do.

    Totally fair consider the Assassin has a worse grapple and gets a 15 second cooldown. Sure, this will be reduced in the upcoming DLC, but to the same cooldown as a Sniper's grapple? I doubt it. That it inself makes it overpowered.

    Again with the Gunner's slam? Again, if you're getting hit by this, get better. That's all there is to say to that. No one said anything about the Assassin being able to ring out. Yes, the Assault can ring out. So? We're not talking about the Assault. But if we must, then note that the Assault cannot use ice traps, lock down an entire lane, or even lane push as well as the Sniper.

    I tried to go through this with as little sarcasm as possible but your arguments were just so.....bad.

    i gotta say too, it doesnt really help your argument when you just show up here out of nowhere and act like you are better than everyone else, especially when you have such big problems as assaults and gunner slams. the ONLY time i have been hit with a slam is when i play tank, i know a slam will make the gunner stick around.

    the sniper also cant fly, dash, or directly kill things with ice traps (he is at least in 50-50 danger of getting a kill from an ice trap, as he can be gunned down even if hes "amazing")

    but hey, if all the classes had ice traps, people would just use whatever. its pros and cons of each class and their skills. each skill is beatable but useful. each class makes you choose ice trap over bomb, ringout grapple at 2 over charge with ringout grapple at 3, and fly-assaulting other pros over explosive-round bot-pushing.

    Who needs a headshot when its 2-3 hits.. hell you dont even have to hit the pro with level 3 passive, 2-3 non-hits to kill a pro... who needs headshots?

    The only things that die in two shots are unarmored assassins and snipers. It's more like 3-5 shots in most cases, although an armored upgraded tank can probably take six.

    Yay the dancing chick is back.

    Does the flak rounds only detonate if they penetrate an enemy or do they detonate on any surface?

    I think the first one would be better if it isn't, :|

    nope, just an animated object, not a wall or something. however, it can be ANY animated object, bot or pro, enemy or ally. THAT is where the money is at.

    however, i still know it is an intended feature and probably best for balance. still, what kind of sadistic freak shoots teammates to kill enemies with collateral.

    ...oh thats right, the sniper does. he has a whole head fulla crazy, dont he?

    A sniper can single handedly dominate a whole side of a map due to:
    - how fast numerous shots can be fired from such a long distance
    - flak weapon is ridiculously powerful
    - traps are a nightmare

    Please make the sniper harder to aim or reduce the damage as it is grating on me

    Make the Sniper harder to aim what? o_O He's the Sniper, his job is to have really good aim. Unless you refer to something like recoil or steady breathing or something that's like COD...

    There are a few things I understand about when it comes to nerfing the Sniper since he is powerful, but all the same, if the Sniper is being played by someone who doesn't know how to very well then that Sniper isn't OP. If the Sniper is being played well by someone who knows the class, technically that's not OP unless the other players can't handle that one Sniper. If you have equal players all playing together and in the end of the day, the Sniper was the one to butt-rape everything and everybody, then I say it's truly OP. Right now I just say that a few of his strengths can be toned down just a notch.

    I believe for every two or so nerfs a character should get one small buff though.

    how about we make the sniper with the same accuracy as the railgun. that will piss people off. and cause massive rage-leaving of this game.

    if you do that, might as well not even put the red dot sight in the middle of the scope. its going to be useless anyhow...
