Not surprised at my internet, but surprised you guys think your internet is slow...

the overall internet download speed in Lebanon is 0.48 Mbps(in 2011)
Today: 2.6 Mbps (in Beirut)

PS: the test is done with through wifi on my old laptop (was too lazy to plug in the ethernet cable )

melhem19, I really recommend looking into power line adapters if your in-home WiFi is not good.
I use a set of Netgear adapters and they're pretty much as good as a cabled connection to the WiFi router.

even if i buy a new router the internet service in my country poor(very slow) and every expensive(especially for high end packages)

2nd, i don't have the money to buy a new router, i have no monthly salary(not employed).

Since new hardwares out, try to move your access point somewhere closer, or more centrally located (assuming you have multiple cable/dsl access points).

My 4G LTE downloads that fast. You actually have good Internet, except for your upload. If Russia is really that good, then America sucks. Jeez. My pc gets 4Mb/s down, 1 up, 50 ping.
