    Had to click play and check the manifest 3 times before it would launch the game (only happened the first time). Other than that it works fine for me.

    After pressing play it checked the manifest 3 times for me as well before it would launch the game (Only happened the first time). Works great now.

    I have over 7 TB of HDD space, so I'm not concerned :D

    Incidentally, minus the 2 extra for the current PTE & Stable installs, that's approximately how many builds there have been of PA (give or take a few I might have missed).

    Are you like a data hoarder or something? Do you have every single build of every game you own?

    I thought those two were the same thing? I still have 500TB on my Heart Disk Drive.

    Love.exe is such bloatware.

    Can you make the installer uninstall PA unlike the SMNC one. It was a little bit annoying when I had to actually manually remove it from my system. I don't know if still stuff in the registry not a big deal but a bit annoying. You kind of expect an installer to have the ability to uninstall the program. Which this one does not currently have.:)

    Edit: A suggestion for the launcher:

    I put together an uninstaller, and it'll have have two check boxes (that you can uncheck) to also remove the game data (i.e. PA) and the user preferences (i.e. %localappdata%\Uber Entertainment\UberLauncher). There are no reg settings, but now there will be (an install directory registry entry, so that third party applications can reliably find PA.)

    That's a good idea for power users. Not sure I will have time to do it, though. I will see.

    Since the launcher will be the way most non-Steam customers will start PA, it makes sense for it just to be the PA icon. I've updated the launcher to have the new PA icon.

    The version we will be publishing soon is now available: http://setup.uberent.com/PlanetaryAnnihilation_Setup.exe

    Changes from the beta version posted on Thursday:

    * New icon
    * Updated launcher with correct PA icon and fixes for "first setup takes three tries to work"
    * Uninstaller with optional (on by default) support for removing PA and your launcher preferences
    * Some cleaning of old setup shortcuts

    For people who are developing PA tools, if the user has installed PA using this setup, you can find the directory in which they've installed PA by looking at the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\InstallDirectory.

    Feedback still welcome!
