Help needed with MNC 360 Ladder and Tournaments

okay guys. what about march 12/13 for the first tourney?

can create now and start marketing egt teams to register etc...
just feel it's better to set something then get whoever caan to join than keep talking about when etc...

I'd rather have a league or ladder instead of a tournament personally.

I'm not sure how many people are going to want to sign up for a tournament. Fragged is working to set another one up soon and it will possibly have prices again.

yes a league is the most requested. i can set up a league, open the registration but we'll need a start date in any case. after what no team can jon until the end of the league season.

for how long should we keep registrations open before starting the league?

Do a league that starts in 2 weeks from this weekend.

FN is doing a double elim tourney and two at the same time might be too much, but a league might work.

alright i will set up the league tomorrow.

for the first i will set a 'short league' ie maybe 6-8 weeks starting in two weeks.

we'll see how this goes and how many teams we have then potentially set up a longer season (3 months)

i don't think it would be the right thing to put prizes on this first one. Let's see if there is a genuine interest from the community and how it goes then perhaps we can look for some sponsoring.
