    All your posts seem to contain nothing more then assumptions and biased teary eyed rants.
    As pointed out, we know nothing exact about the new changes.
    And you are putting words in my mouth, I said none of those things.
    Perhaps you misinterpreted what I posted in other threads.
    Sorry the assassin touched you in your nono place.

    If you honestly are having such a huge problem with the weakest class in the game, Instead of writing up another whine thread as to why you think said class does not deserve to be viable, send me a pm and id be glad to try and help you.

    And no that's not just another jab at you, I'm srsly.

    Even after this dlc there will still be one major difference between the Assassin and the Gunner.

    The Assassin takes skill to play effectively, while the Gunner requires the ability to hold down right trigger.

    For everyone saying the Assassin should get a nerf to balance all the buffs, please keep in mind that the Assassin was hit the hardest in the patch. Also, the Assassin benefits the least from the increased hit detection, whereas anything with a gun benefits much more. Granted they were things that weren't meant to be in the game, but there is no denying that Assassins are considerably weaker now.

    Gotta say, I thoroughly love all the changes. I typically play support, and love the hell out of it, but I do agree that it was far too easy to build up juice with healing, and it'll be interesting seeing the extent of that change. On the assassin note that everyone was talking about... Well, I frankly don't see the point in people trying to compare the assassin and the gunner. It's like looking at a lawnmower and a blowtorch. Sure, both of them will keep your lawn down, and have a fair chance of mangling smartmouthed neighbors, but they're always going to do it in different ways, with different pros and cons. I too play the assassin quite a bit (just hit 17 hours worth of cloak time) and she seems just fine after the supposed terrible nerf as well. True, I had to be a bit more choosy on my targets, but that made it more fun. In other words, haven't seen a bad change out of the Uber team yet, and I'm not expecting to any time soon. Also, my money says it's the Tank under all that bacon. *shudder*

    The thing I would like to see is the Turrets be more meaningful. Right now they are to easy to kill. A juiced assassin can take out a level 3.3 rocket turret in two swipes. When you think about the fact that someone spent 1600 Coins to upgrade that turret to have it killed in two swipes of a sword it sucks, especially how easy it is to get juice. There are some players that can get juice about every 90 seconds.

    Taking out a fully upgraded turret and I don't care which kind should be a challenge and it should take teamwork, not simply a one player juice rush. It sometimes gets to the point when playing a good team of players it's a complete waste of money to buy any turrets at all because they take them out so fast, when in fact if your a bit outmatched it should be a helpful strategy to actually not upgrade skills and build turrets to help defend against aggressive/rushing team.

    I'm curious, have you tried juice rushing a base as an Assassin?

    If I see a base with 2 3.3 Lazers and any other turrents I know it's gonna be a suicide run. It's simply not possible to take out a halway decent base, let alone a good base. If you see an Assassin wrecking your entire base, it was either really bad to begin with or there was more than one of them. 1 Assassin is not as effective as people seem to think.

    3.3 rokets do not go down in two swipes :shock:

    Ill test it, but those fvckers are hard to down and do scary damage
    Takes a lot more then two swipes with juice

    I do know a Juiced Gunner's level 3 mortar can take out fully overhealed 3.3 RockIts in 4 shots. The Assassin can't do anywhere near that amount of damage while Juiced.

    I will grant you that anyone can pick gunner and get a few kills here and there. But it actually does take skill to excel as a gunner against skilled enemies because you have no movement powers. You have to play very smart or you are very dead because there is little room for error.

The gunner has a powerful weapon and slam and quite frankly that's about it. The ranged damage reduction weakens his deploy as it was a nice +accuracy buff at long range. If you're getting killed at long range by a gunner (using the mini) he has sacrificed a ton of damage for accuracy. You guys cried about it and now that playstyle is gone. Any nerf to the gunner's biggest asset is worth mentioning because it is literally all he has.

    Why can't I taunt as a gunner or a tank while deployed? It's because if I hit deploy then no one can grapple me and if I have deploy 3 no one can headshot me. If I could taunt while deployed then deploy 3 would be worth buying just for that.

    Are you seriously trying to tell me it's fair that you can use your defensive power to taunt while other classes cannot?

    Go back and read your own "teary eyed rants" about the assassin changes from the last patch. I sound no different than you did.

    We do know nothing about the changes. And perhaps I did misinterpret something.

    Assassins want massive lunge damage so they can chain it with the grapple. Who cares if the sword damage is low against players when the lunge damage is high? All you (specifically) used to do was face lunge into a grapple for a near instant kill. I just don't want that to come back. This is why a number of people said the lunge and grapple need to be on the same cooldown.

    The mortar is an interesting weapon. If you hit a low armored foe directly then they go into red health. IF there was a way you could fire the mortar to do some kind of burst fire attack and get 6 shells to explode on someone that would be completely broken. The old lunge + face grapple is broken in the same way.


    Now who's being childish? Your sarcastic remark is clearly a jest at my expense.

    I think the reason why the Assassin lunge attack needed a damage increase is because her main attack is put on a cooldown after use. No other Pro has that.

    Thank you. No player with any reflexes or motor skills is going to sit there and let you slash them to death On the other hand, weapons like the AR and the Minigun will melt you before you can move, and this, from a distance.
