    Edward Coug is proof.

He has witnessed the greatness of the gunner deploy in action, while I put the entire universe in an atomic explosion that only Ghandi could had prevented.

    But Ghandi is long dead.

    Amen.

I remember sticking close to Tom with my heal beam for a couple of those matches, and I did watch him dominate a few people while deployed.

However, those were private matches with mixed groups of people, not real teams.

    But whatevers.

    Overtime
upgrade deploy to lv 3 (if i havent already)
    Deploy right under spawn point
    wait for juice rushers
shoot, slows them down and does massive damage plus since you're at deploy lv 3, you will most likely outdamage them unless they are in your face
    ??????
    WIN!!!!

deploy is the anti-juice, its safe and effective instead of running right next tom them and attempting to grapple them.

Deploy is really effective against enemies from long range. The problem with juiced people is that they lack the accuracy of deploy. What I like to do is deploy long-range because my bullets cause more damage and slow them down. It works great.

Deploying against decent opponents long range is asking for trouble imo. Most classes have a long range option and will be able to dodge your shots long enough to kill you. Good players aren't phased by taking damage and won't run. As gunner I love seeing another gunner deploy at long range, even if I'm low on health, because he's going to be dead when the second round of mortars hit him.

I normally deploy for medium-close range to slow and kill fleeing opponents, or in 1 vs 1 against better players who aren't beaten by a bit of claw jumping. It's also good against juiced players in your base. They'll probably kill you but will be slowed and damaged enough that your teammates and turrets will kill them before they do too much damage. The key to deploy is just to be aware of your surroundings and generally don't stay deployed for longer than a couple of seconds.

In evenly-matched games I'll Deploy 3 + Juice on the moneyball even if it means I'm going to die, then spend the rest of the match defending our ball. That initial damage is often enough to win the match providing you defend well.

my armorless assassin with no crit build destroyed the GENERAL KNOX and his deploy.

Also got the slap grapple and the back grapple on Mini Knox

Guess it wouldn't work in a competitve match eh?

thats why i said deploy under the spawn point because the last place a juice rusher will go is under the spawn, they go straight for turrets/moneyball.

Any half intelligent person will instantly be able to kill a deployed gunner with juice. Maybe a support would be stopped, but Shurikens, Mortars, Sniper, AR/GL, all make deployed gunners easy pickings. Try deploying against me as a juice deterrent, you'll be eating juiced mortars right before I go on a spree in your spawn.

    Fixed that for ya! ;)

The only way I've seen it work semi-consistently is to use the Slam to slow them, then deploy. Even then, we're talking about deploying against average players at best.

Except not everyone plays private and in pubs, deploy can be very useful as long as you're aware of your surroundings before you do it.

I was fighting this gunner who would land, deploy, and start firing wherever he went. He would deploy out in the open. I got soo many kills on him. He killed me once or twice when I was on low health, but he needed some help on knowing when to deploy.

Deploy has only been useful for me against retreating juiced players.
